What percentage does Jesus take up in your day-to-day living? How often do you think of him, talk with him, seek his presence, or seek his friendship during the day?  My guess is not nearly enough. Today we will look at what is, in reality, a binary choice: Either: “I’m all in, Jesus!” or “You are just not that important to me, Jesus.”  Tune in to find out what this looks like for you.

The Apostle Paul describes the footwear for the Armor of God as:  … and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Can we avoid tests and trials in this life? No.  Do our bad habits often lead to trials of our own making? Yes.  So if we listen to Jesus and rid ourselves of these bad habits, we can avoid many unnecessary trials and tests.  But what to do when we are in those inevitable trials?  Stay tuned to find out!

When Jesus states in the Disciples’ Prayer, “And lead us not into temptation,” what is he saying? Does God tempt us? When Jesus says, “… your father knows what you need before you ask him,” do you realize what an astounding statement this is?  Do you see what a plate-tectonics shift this could be / should be in our approach to prayer?  Today let’s dig into this incredible promise from Jesus and its implications for us.

When we are faced with a decision, do we seek God’s direction? Do we want to be in his will?  And if so, how will we know if we are? Today we will seek to understand how, when we are faced with options that do not seem to be black and white, can we determine what God’s will is.

In the Lord’s Prayer we ask, “Your will be done.” But how would we know if what we hear is indeed God’s will – or our own?  Or worse, Satan deceiving us? Can we know and discern God’s will?  Does he still communicate to us individually about such matters? Yes and Yes!  Stay tuned to find out!

When we pray for God’s will to be done, do we have any idea that for which we are asking?  Do you actually want to give up your free will, or do you still prefer your will, your way?  Perhaps you’d like some balance of your will and his will.  But what if you could see that his will is always “good, pleasing and perfect?” (Romans 12:1-2). Today we take look at the symbiotic relationship between “Our Father in the heavens” and “Your kingdom come.” Our Father is in the heavens, which means he is all around us – we live in a God-saturated world. So why do we need to pray, “Your kingdom come,” if he is already all around us? Tune in to find out!

When Jesus says, “Your Kingdom come,” he is saying a mouthful!  Can the Father’s Kingdom come when I am on my throne – the king (or queen) of my castle? Perhaps this is why Jesus said,  “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. Today we begin a journey into a better understanding of the prayer Jesus gave to his disciples, and by extension, to us. We call this, The Lord’s Prayer. It is more accurate to say, The Disciple’s Prayer. Jesus gave this to them and to us to use as a model to follow.

Would it be helpful to take a measure of where you are in your spiritual journey You may think you are doing well as a Christian, but perhaps you are fooling yourself. Today we complete our Spiritual Inventory.  The full inventory is below, should you be brave enough to take it.
