We had the great honor to hear from our Next Generation Pastor Luke DiBenedetto this weekend! Every person has the influence to help or hurt others. In the same way, every person can be influenced themselves by someone else. Who are you surrounding yourself with? What decisions are you making? There is a power of influence that comes from those choices.

Have you ever felt the bite of discouragement? Of loss? Of doubt? Discouragement can be a serpent... but through Jesus, we can crush it's head. Pastor Marcus teaches us on how to work through the discouragements of life by simply staying encouraged in the things of God.

Too often we forget the blessings we've experienced. We focus on what we don't have or who we aren't. But when was the last time you took a moment to look around and celebrate what you do have? Did you know failing to celebrate is considered a sin? Pastor takes us through a passage from Numbers to highlight the importance of failing to celebrate the blessings in our lives.

Every year, we fast for closeness with God. But every year, our cravings can be obstacles to achieving that. What are you craving in your life? What craves are you a slave to? This Christmas Eve, Pastor Marcus reminded us the importance of having a dream in our life. The Christmas story itself has five separate dreams we can look to for wisdom and teaching. Are we still allowing ourselves to dream? Have we forgotten what it's like to dream? What is your "God dream?"

Jesus had a job. He had friends. He had a family. Rarely do we think about the "humanity" of Jesus. Of course, we know He was divine. But, what about His humanity? 

Did you know there's a potential on the inside of you? Did you know you have the potential to impact eternal change that can start just as a simple seed? During our Heart for the House weekend, Pastor Marcus spoke out of the book of John as we looked at ways we too often miss the potential God has given us and how to overcome them.

What is that one thing that God has called you to go after? Whatever that one thing is, that's your Keilah. God has called you to go save it. Go after it. Run fully after the thing that He's placed in front of you. It needs you! Everyone has a Keilah, and God is telling you to go save yours.
