The love-ish series is about taking a different spin on youth month, and bringing the “love-ish” conversations that young people are currently facing as they navigate their way into adulting. This year we’re focusing on Friendships, and on this instalment of the series - we’re chatting Friendships and how they relate to our romantic relationship.

Culture Vulture hitmaker, 25K, joined Smash Afrika for an exclusive drop of his new single 'Pheli Makaveli'. This is the first official drop from the rising star since signing with Sony Music. His debut album ‘Pheli Makaveli’ is due to drop at the end of July.

Do I Qualify’ is the first single lifted off hit-maker - DJ Clock’s forthcoming album, ‘6th Tick’. The track features Han C, the vocalist hailing from neighbouring Botswana, who sings earnestly about yearning after a love interest; pining after them from a distance and wondering if he stands a chance with them. DJ Clock joined Smash Afrika for an exclusive first airplay of the single.

Smash Afrika caught up with one of Ghana’s best exports Kwesi Arthur. The young rapper is taking the globe by storm with features from Vic Mensa, countryman Stonebwoy & South Africa’s very own Nasty C. He spoke to Smash about hip hop in Ghana and gave some insight into his upcoming album which is due for release in 2021.
