One of the most fascinating things about Gorongosa National Park is how they are actively including the community in helping rehabilitate the area and showing local tribes and local people how important conservation is. One of the best forms of this is known as a “Girls Club” a school-based group of activities that teach young girls life skills as part of uplifting the community.

How do you feel about camping in the bush with the insects and the animals and the scary monsters?

When you are surrounded by flood plains for Kilometers around you the best way to get through the dense brush and vegetation. Is to ride a bike, or use a boat, we did both in Gorongosa National Park.
