Our word for the year is to "Shine" from Daniel 12:3, and in this first episode of the year, we consider what it means to be wise, as the key to reflecting the light of God and revealing His glory in us this year.

At the heart of Heaven's worship is the worthiness of God, displayed in the suffering Lamb of God. The story of redemption is the song of heaven and tells of God's uncommon wisdom, which is the secret to power and authority in Heaven.

We step into John's vision of the throne room to understand the heart of worship and why the One who is on the throne is worthy of all our worship.

John sees a door open in heaven and hears a voice inviting him to join the worship of heaven. We examine the nature of this door and this voice and what it take to live the ascended life in this episode.

The end goal Jesus desires for our salvation in time is that we become a peculiar people on Earth, continuing his works, and revealing the glory of the Father everywhere like He did. Good works are those works that flow from the heart of the Father and are in tune with his will and His current move. They are how we wait actively on the Lord and occupy until He returns.

This episode is all about rediscovering the true and complete Gospel of grace which not only saves us, but teach us godliness and empowers to be witnesses to Jesus on the Earth.

In these verses, Paul expands on the main focus of his letter to Titus in Crete which is that the proof of sound doctrine and the knowledge of God is in overflow of good works. The pattern of good works that Paul exhorts Titus, the church in Crete and us to be examples of begins with a firm commitment to sound doctrine as the antidote to the crippling effect of falsehood.

Titus is left in Crete to appoint Elders for the church and to help the church steer clear of the tide of false teaching that was producing ungodliness. The key to this assignment is in Paul's introduction of himself as a bondservant of God. This voluntary posture is the secret to godliness and usefulness in God's hands as we will see in this letter.

In this closing study of Paul's letters to Timothy, we scour through the precious gems in Paul's valedictory message. His readiness to be poured out as a drink offering is a virtue we must be armed with if we will also run our course to the end.

In this engaging and enlightening study, Nancy encourages us to preach the word faithfully and to be ready to do so by living everyday under the influence and direction of the word of God.

In this chapter, Paul reveals that perilous times or moments will abound in the last days, marked by deception and a devaluation of the fidelity of the faith.
