Its a pretty solid show with the Kyoto arc being the pinnacle of the series.

Take one part Ninja Scroll, one part Romeo & Juliet, and one part Mortal Kombat which will give you the anime, Basilisk. This is a show that has a decently interesting plot that takes it cues from the Shakespeare classic. But honestly the real reason you watch the show is because of the characters and fights and this show delivers on it in spades.

Mainstream audiences are aware of Chan's movies in America and some of the movies he's made in Hong Kong. Every once in a while Chan will film a movie in another country that's different than what he usually does. Who Am I is a very tight movie that moves along at a good pace. You have a pretty good story of a guy trying to get his memories back alongside trying to piece together how it all happen...

Police Story 3 aka SuperCop finally brings our hero to the 90's. The story is very fast-paced and he even has a partner in Michelle Yeoh who holds her own next to Chan. Very good flick all around especially if you're a fan of any sort of action film.

Movies based on board games are few and far between mainly because there have only been two movies. Clue and Battleship. Clue manages to be a pretty good and entertaining movie because it hits on the very thing that makes the game fun which the solving the mystery. With a really good cast of actors/actresses, this flick is entertaining from beginning to end.

The movie that pretty much made Jim Carrey a household name, Ace Ventura is a hilarious movie that still holds up. Carrey's brand of comedy doesn't come off as annoying which is a credit to his comedic style. His character of Ace is him just going nuts and it's amazing how anyone during this movie was able to keep a straight face and not laugh whenever he was on screen. 

Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence in the same movie. It was a long time coming and it was well worth it. Life is a movie that is funny from beginning to end and you can see both Martin and Eddie firing on all cylinders with the comedy. With a great supporting cast, this flick is well worth the watch. 

What can be said about a movie that paired up Jet Li with the late and great Aaliyah? Lots of things actually. Here we have a movie that was fusing that Asian/hip-hop influence while attempting to be a sort of loose adaptation of Romeo and Juliet... Action and funny wire-fu be damned.
