Batman TAS was already awesome. A staple of early '90s cartoons. But it needed a feature to drive home that this show is serious and different. Mask of the Phantasm was not only a great story of Year 2 Batman, but it is also very different from every other movie, animated or live action.  

The anime that made the biggest splash in the 2010's. The kaiju genre got turned on its head. Terrifying deaths, military drama and a secret thats brewing underneath it all.

A movie full of petty revenge, racial overtones, 90's cool and John Lithgow devouring the scenery. Also, we're letting it be known, what our role as black people should be in this country right now. 

A story of a soft-spoken stuntman who moonlight as a getaway driver. And he is a damn good getaway driver. We talk about the story, modern noir, stoic protagonist, character actors, "What's truly manly" and Ryan Gosling singing on the Disney Channel.
