3BlackGeeks Podcast

Before the ski mask, before the sexy teens banging, before the unbelievable kills, and the sea of gore. There was an old lady killing folk around Crystal Lake. We travel back to "Present Day" and check out the first of many movies that would end up in space by the 10th one. We are joined by our good friend Moe from No Budget Nightmares because you damn right he is! We talk about basic tropes, basi...

It's been...let's say 2 years since Andy's doll tried to kill him. Syke nah, Chucky is back. And now his kill count is higher. We chat about this insane man trapped in a doll's body for the second time. This time we talk about Phil, kills, toy trauma, parental trauma, yelling, and fast little people.

MK1 release, Seperate Ways RE4 remake release, FF7 Rebirth getting a date announcement, and this situation regarding Unity. So much news to cover and the guys are back at it to press these buttons!!!!

Stallone has waves. Big highs and big lows. But it's his mid movies that are the treats. In this movie it's the Night Slasher vs. Cobra in a all out war in the streets. We talk cops who are loose cannons, Brigette, Mid Stallone and the great Brian Thompson.

Tom Cruise went all the way in with this film top to bottom. The movie delivers on everything we love about the Mission Impossible series and this entry in particular calls back to some of the plot points and characters from the early films in a great way.

John Wick ends his saga, not with a bang. But with CINEMA!!!! This movie is absolutely gorgeous! We talk about action, Donnie Yen, black men with dogs, the French, action porn, and how perfect this movie was.

#MMPR #PowerRangers30thAnniversary #CosmicFury #Hasbro This was a long time coming but CJ & Prime circle back to MMPR: Once and Always and see if there opinions on this 30th Anniversary special has changed while also chatting on the future of the franchise with Cosmic Fury looming large.

So thr Netflix One Piece adaptation turned out to be a decent time. It's not perfect but it gets the job done. Watch as CJ and Prime break down the pros and cons of this season.

Coming off a huge 2023 Evo that brought us some solid matches across a wide variety of games and also some big time game trailer announcements as well. Tons of stuff to talk about. Lets press these buttons baby!!!!

The writers and actor's strike has brought about some change in the entertainment industry for better and worst. CJ and Prime chat about it especially post SDCC 2023 and also get into some comics they're reading.

Imagine a movie from A24 that won awards...only for the next 5 sequels to be made by Lionsgate. That happened to Death Wish. The Cannon Group told Charles Bronson fuck all that drama, people want sleeze! So he took that check and made another banger that far weaker than its predecessor. At least the deaths and overall BS is fun. Our boy Moe is back for another 80s classic and to make this show spe...

Special episode wherein CJ and Prime talk about the crossroads that Power Rangers as a franchise is in during this Hasbro era. Lots to unpack and its definitely worth the listen.

The sequel that does everything right. From jokes, to villains, to the production and even makeup. The guys talk and act out one of their favorite movies of all time.

Blue Beetle carries the same vibes as the first Shazam film in that you can tell there was a love of the character lore top to bottom. As a movie thats technically a start of this James Gunn era of DC films, this is a good film to kick it off properly.

We leave Shadow Moses behind and enter a new world. A world where the "La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo" has finally made the full-scale takeover they've been after. And Raiden is proof of its success. Well, he doesn't know it, but the world does. The 3BlackGeeks have the full story and then some about this groundbreaking game.

It's always fun when a comedy doesn't pull punches. And it's even more fun when it's Hollywood poking fun at the ridiculousness of Hollywood. Tropic Thunder as of 2023 is still sighted as "controversial" by people who live on social media. So we talk about it all. The stereotypes, the blackface, the body suits, the comedy and of course the action!

Welp, apparently they had to finish this franchise. I'm still not sure who they are but they need to get they ass beat. Eddie didn't want this movie, Landis didn't want this movie, The Bump didn't want this movie, no fans were asking for this movie, NO ONE WANTED THIS! And we at 3BG are no different. This movie is ass.

We go to the very begining of the madness. Before they we're a family. Before people came back from the dead. Before Jason, The Rock, Cena, or Mamoa. Before rockets and helicopter takedowns. We had a strip and cars. Oh, the cheesy acting and action nonsense are still there! Sit back as we talk about this love story. I mean...I'm straight! I'm not in love with Dom, I'm focused on my job, not his lo...

The stars came out for this HK classic. Well most of them came out with free will, but not Jackie Chan. This episode we explore how this movie was made, the action/drama with in it and HOW THE TRIAD WAS GONNA KILL JACKIE CHAN! IM NOT MAKING THAT LAST PART UP! (Originally recorded on March 23, 2023)

Its been awhile the gang is back talking comics, movies, and tv shows especially with SDCC right around the corner. Tons of thing to hit on.

It's the 90's and black folk got money and they trying to have sex. Like, a lot of sex. But there needs to be more than that right. This is a classic black movie with a classic movie love story with a lot of laughs. The podcast isn't that bad either.

This Juneteeth we leave space for our allies. Our white brotheren who care so deeply. So we're reviewing a white savior movie! More importantly, RIP Coolio

#TheFlash #DC #EzraMiller #Batman #MichaelKeaton #Supergirl Its a shame that this film is dropping after the excellent Across the Spiderverse because the big flaws of The Flash is front and center mainly in the loose story adaptation of the Flashpoint comic. For a film thats supposed to be this big love letter to the DC movie universe, the film doesn't quite have the epic scope to pull off this fe...

#Transformers #Hasbro #Paramount #OptimusPrime #PeterCullen Gotta admit...Whoever is head of Paramount has a clear vision of what the Transformers franchise can be ever since Bumblebee. Rise of the Beasts continues this clear storytelling with a straightforward narrative, entertaining characters that you care about, and solid action.

The Godzilla movie where earth is finesse by Planet X. A plan that has us give up Godzilla and Rodan for a cancer drug. Sounds fair but it ain't.
