We love when owners stand up for their people.  We love this Behind Bars with Bill.  We love recording two episodes in one day.  And we apparently love Aperol Spritzezzzz!

Bill has some good gems in his notes and the concept of using "Humor as a Weapon" is no exception.  We've all certainly done it and it is without question one the best tools that makes an all around good bartender or server.  Oh and apparently Bill discovered a new beer from Bootstrap Brewing that's infused with pickle juice.  YES PICKLE JUICE!!!

We recorded this one over a year ago and left it unpublished.  But some topics just don't get old or go away and this is often a huge point of contention, especially when a little girl is attacked by a fake service animal.

Cleanliness is next to Godliness, as the saying goes.  Just a quick halfshot here about some sanitation issues on both sides of the bar.  Maybe we should have called it "People are Gross."

Anyone who has ever worked at an operations level for a large company knows the feeling of disconnect the corporate level has from them.  However, it's not every day that someone in corporate shoves their own foot so far in their mouth that it forces a mass exodus from their company.  That's the case in the article and reviews we read about at an Applebees in Kansas.

This episode is long overdue.  Last summer we were able to be part of the Bartender Hye-D-Away at Garrison Brothers Distillery just outside of Austin, Texas.  It was an amazing experience with awesome people and incredible bourbon.  Yet somehow a few jackholes on Yelp thought differently than we did.  So yeah, we're gonna tear them apart.  Let's Break Bourbon!

We've been asking for reviews and we actually got some.  So we're going to take a moment to read some reviews about us and reflect on all that's good in the world.  It's a feel good episode!

One of the most notoriously dangerous nightclubs in Denver has been shut down and it's about damn time.  You can read all sorts of terrible reviews about how dangerous it was for yourself, but the one we chose pretty much sums it all up.  

How can a person change their review so many times and still make it a lie in the face of facts?  If you thought Mr. Peanut from season 1 was bad, Haley's Comet is a fiery ball of douchery.  Buckle up! 

Remember those d-bags that tried to take the huge tip from the server in Arkansas?  Yeah, this episode is all about that.  We recorded using some new-to-us tech that takes some getting used to.  We apologize if the quality is off, but out commentary is still spot on. ENJOY!!!

How can 3 little letters hold so much meaning?  Well, we don't really know.  What we do know is that when writing a review, simply putting "meh" to describe all the flavors and tidbits of your experience, just doesn't cut the mustard.  Sit back and give a listen as we go through these reviews that are just a little... well you know...meh.

Yeah we get off on putting people down, but sometimes it's good to remember that it's better to lift people up with praise.  We were all feeling pretty good and decided to spread that goodness toward the reviews and by osmosis (we think) to you dear listeners.

We love food trucks.  We also don't understand why people leave stupid reviews about food trucks.  But then again we don't understand why people leave stupid reviews at all.  So let's drink some amazing Blood Orange DIPA from Rail's End Brewing and make fun of the stupid reviews.

With summer time comes road trips and of course a plethora of visits to this country’s great national parks. Sadly, it also brings review writers who apparently have never seen the great outdoors. You’ll be smacking your head at some of these reviews.

We come across entirely too many trash reviews that are so bad we won't even glorify them with a star rating.  However, they are good for some all out laughter.  And for some reason, Bill has a serious issue with the cocktail for Happy Hour!
