The Guys go off .... side on this one!  Ben might even be served up a Match penalty for how fired up he got.  It's all about the U18 Cold Lake player that struck a linesman during a recent game in St Paul.  What led up to it, what social media is saying about it, and the guys give recommendations on how a situation like this could be avoided.   

Ben's back from Mexico and the boys are looking forward to municipal elections!  What they think may be focal points for campaigning over the next year.  Quieter on the rant front but lots of community evens coming up and love for people in our community including a new podcast that Ben is convinced he inspired!

A brief comment on the Presidential inauguration.  Then of course a Royal Tea story time that's caused a lot of discussion in our community. Ben and Trent weigh in with their thoughts and opinions.  Expect the unexpected as they even give a happy shout out this time to MLA Scott Cyr who's made some big announcements that will be bringing some very positive improvements locally to health...

New year, new rant!  Trent had an unexpected trip to the hospital and got some first hand insight as to how stressed and under supported our front line professionals are.  Be warned he is fired up and unleashes his most heated tirade ever with a certain photogenic MLA clear in his verbal crosshairs!  But, he doesn't forget to praise how great the staff was.  Of course we weigh in on what&apos...

Last call for 2024!  A bit of a rant a bit of a recap and a bit of what's to come for 2025.  Most of all a lot of Gratitude for our listeners and supporters!  Thank you and all the best from Ben and Trent!

In the spirit of giving, Ben and Trent give it to the Feds, our Provincial leaders and a little bit to our municipal leaders. (But not too much because we still mostly like them) It's a busy time of year with community events and still lots of Happy shout outs to those making our communities better places for us.   

Canda's gone postal over the lates strike.  Criminal activity is highest in our area of the province.  Ben and Trent discuss the pros and cons (no pun intended) of criminal record checks for potential candidates for Town Council.  Lot's of activities as we head into the holiday season and the guys sip on a new brew from their favorite establishment!

Is it worth the time, effort and money to move your kids to elite sports programs? Ben and Trent share their opinions on that.  Scot Cyr, great photos, not enough "doing what you were elected to do".  Some quick weigh ins on the US federal election, what's the chances Canada goes to the poles and community events and happy shout outs.

The "mail it in" Episode.  Ben's brain is mush and Trent has a stomach bug, but we soldier on.  Mental Health care is lacking in the public health system.  A couple of fender benders prove Ben right on a previous rant about service roads, and it's a big weekend in the Lakeland with the Annual Iron Horse Ultra 100 and the 1st Annual Elk Point 60km Ultra!

Ben and Trent discuss Jagmeet Singh's reaction to a heckler outside of parliament.  A revisit of the Casino issue brought up last episode and how our MLA could do better for us.  And a very disappointing response from a town councilor to a resident regarding the increase in water rates.  Lot's of local events and happy shout outs!

Ben and Trent put the focus on our local MLA, "Photo Op Scott Cyr" Too much fluff and not enough stuff on more serious concerns like having temporary ER closers throughout the Lakeland.  At the Federal level, will Jagmeet Singh's announcement that his party will no longer support the Liberal minority force an early election?  And a question to the Town of St Paul regarding the frequ...

Maybe a bit of a ramble rant as the boys offer their take on the 2024 Paris Olympics. Vandals almost prevent a community event from happening. Listener feed back wants to know if there's any updates for St Paul's feasibility study into a multi-plex.  And, Ben takes credit for the Town's decision to amend a controversial  Bylaw.

Get on Board with a board!  Ben and Trent discuss their disappointment with how a local board has been operating but also put out the call of the importance for more people to step up and join a board.  Also, what we think the right reasons are for joining a board.  If you're board, join a board!

Ben brought his Rant Hat!  Thanks to the response from the last episode, Ben and Trent bring to light some of the information they were lacking.  Opinion remains the same but at least with a better understanding and what they think needs to change so that people can be better informed.  It's a swear free episode too!

From parking lot sink holes to Ben's recommendation as to what municipal government can do with a hat of his choosing.  A bit of frustration boils over as Trent blind sides Ben with some knowledge.  Of course our esteemed MLA is racking up photo ops so we have a hat for him too.  A busy summer of events and the Lakeland mourns the loss of a great volunteer and mentor. 

We've been ranting for 1 year!  Play LaBamba Baby!  Some thoughts on the Stanley Cup final.  When are criminal charges serious enough to suspend someone without pay.  The Town of St Paul is proposing a bylaw that could cost you on your water bill.  And of course happy shout outs!  

Ben and Trent take credit for the drop in local gas prices.  The boys aren't too proud for Pride and Tipping etiquette.  We also try out a new sign off.

The rapid rant episode.  Trent's take on the LaBamba troll from the Dallas Stars' home ice DJ.   Gas gouging in the Lakeland.   A couple of new Town of St Paul bylaws has a thumbs down for one and thumbs up for another.  And Ben demands we give better customer service!  Plus our happy shout-outs reveals what a heat pump is thanks to one of our listeners!

Are schools paying carbon tax?  You bet they are!  What has your MLA done for you lately and Gino Vannelli gets a mention, the only podcast that keeps him in the media.   Ben and Trent have now made it 24 episodes with out getting fired.  

The podcast where you're not only allowed to call your co-host a Wacko, it's encouraged.  Ben and Trent talk parliamentary shenanigans.  Trent politely suggests we refocus some of our protest efforts.  We weigh in on some very serious charges recently laid against a St Paul RCMP member.  And Happy shout outs and maybe a dig or two some friends of the show!

Service roads, the worst engineering concept for municipalities!  Insurance companies, more headache than help!  Tax dollars for an anti-vape campaign and Trent wears pants instead of pajamas!  Strait to the point rants, tons of community events and a couple of special birthday shout outs.
