Scottish folkie  Frank Burkitt  and his partner  Kara Filbey  are returning to New Zealand after moving to Northern England 3 years ago. Marty Duda  spoke to Frank, who we found in West Yorkshire, about reuniting  The Frank Burkitt Band , playing the Auckland Folk Festival and a we touch on a few songs from the latest album,  Silvereye. 

Caroline Jones  is a Nashville-based Country artist who has just released her second album,  Antipodes,  after a stint in lockdown in Auckland.  Marty Duda  asks the questions and Caroline supplies the answers! Marty Duda  found Daddy Long Legs front man  Brian Hurd  in Melbourne where they were just about to hit the stage for the third time in as many days. On this Thanksgiving Day, Brian wasn’t too keen to celebrate, instead he took this opportunity to pay his respects to  Wilko Johnson,  who had just passed away at age 75.

Sarah Shook  and her Disarmers released their 3rd album,  Nightroamer  earlier this year. They’ve been touring ever since. Marty Duda tracked down Sarah to talk about music, politics and growing up in Rochester, New York. The Disarmers have been going through a few changes, which is where our conversation begins:
