John chapter 1 verse 17 seems to suggest that grace and truth did not exist before our Messiah, and also were against what Moses wrote as the law of God. This confusion exists because of the little word…but.

“Paul is easy to understand!” “These verses about the law of God are clear and require NO explanation!” We have all heard that. Why can’t we simply accept some of the select snippets of Paul literally in the way many choose to interpret them? Why is it necessary to offer explanation?

For all who have served their country in military service, there is a sense of honor, respect and accomplishment in doing so. It’s as if they have answered their “call of duty” for their country. ¿A poco es verdad que Cristo nos dio un nuevo mandamiento para obedecer? ¿Cuáles son las implicaciones si eso fuera el caso? Acompáñenos en esta breve enseñanza para darle algo en que pensar.

La pregunta suena absurda ¿no? ¿Qué no se supone que todos amamos a Dios? Pero bíblicamente ¿qué significa eso realmente? ¿Vamos a definir la forma en que Dios debe ser amado o es Dios quien define como él quiere ser amado? ¿El amor a Dios importa en absoluto, o es todo acerca de Dios amándonos?
