This episode of Dark examine all three time established time periods using the three cylinders of the time machine as markers. It's becoming clear that correcting the wrongs of the past won't be an easy matter. The often lengthy dialogues between characters have us thinking about if we can change the past or if everything is predetermined. It's the oldest question in history.

We grow deeper into the knot as we enter a third time period (and possibly a fourth) and learn how Helge got his scars. This episode throws everything we have seen into question. Eternal recurrence, the ouroboros, triquetras, and so on. The dark days are just beginning.
