Explanation of אתה אחד, where we highlight the uniqueness of הקב״ה, בני ישראל and שבת, as well as the interrelationship with each other, recognizing the bond between הקב״ה and כלל ישראל through the moment of שבת, an experience fully recognized at this point of שבת מנחה.

Introduction to מנחה לשבת, were we embellish on the origins of reciting אשרי ובא לציון, ואני תפלתי and קריאת התורה, highlighting the unique and auspicious time of מנחה of שבת.

Explanation of שיר הכבוד, a final expression of our yearning and closeness towards Hashem, where we attempt to elaborate on His מידות and our relationship with Him.

Explanation of אין כאלוקינו, where we conclude our תפילה, utilizing the model of קטורת, with a final affirmation of ה׳ as our G-d and description of the import of שבת.

Explanation of נשמת כל חי, the conclusion of פסוקי דזמרא and introduction to ישתבח, where we eloquently praise Hashem as Creator and Guide of our lives while recognizing the insufficiency of such praise.

Explanation of רננו צדיקים, where we call upon the צדיקים to praise Hashem for both His השגחה in guiding the world to its ultimate שלמות as well as His השגחה פרטית over those who have faith in Him, a manifestation of the genuine relationship between the Jewish people and Hashem, a fitting climax for פסוקי דזמרא of שבת.

Explanation of הודו לה׳ כי טוב, where we describe Hashem's dominion over the world, society and history and with the control is a manifestation of His חסד in sustaining the world, both on a global and individual level, and bringing it to its ultimate redemption.

Explanation of הללו׳ הללו את שם ה׳, where we elaborate on praise of Hashem without the need for miracles as well as the recognition of Hashem's ultimate goal to push history forward in fulfilling His will, an appropriate follow up of the themes of יושב בסתר, the idea of השגחת ה׳, as well as the message of שבת, recognizing Hashem as the Creator and Guide of reality.

Explanation of יושב בסתר עליון, where we outline the call for placing one's faith in ה׳, understand the mindset of one who has faith in Hashem's השגחה as well intimacy between Hashem and that individual, an appropriate message of שבת when we deepen our connection with Him.

Explanation of תפילה למשה, where we discuss man's mortality and use this awareness to inspire us to do תשובה and utilize the Torah for our development and meaning in life.

Explanation of לדוד בשנותו, where דוד describes the השגחה פרטית he experienced when he was saved from the פלישתים and how we can attain that level of closeness and protection, appropriate for שבת, the day when we develop this close connection with our Creator.
