Good Plans - Joseph | Has God Forgotten Me? | Pastor Chris Heller   Genesis 41:1-45 This week we return to the prison that Joseph has been forgotten in to learn lessons on waiting patiently for the salvation of the Lord.   Why does He make us wait sometimes? What is His purpose in a long, drawn out trial?   Join us for Communion Sunday as we learn the goodness of God in those times He calls us to...

Good Plans - Joseph | Goodology | Pastor Chris Heller   Genesis 40   Today, we’re going to step into Joseph’s story while he’s still in the waiting room of life—prison. God gives Joseph the ability to interpret others dreams, and in doing so we’ll watch how Joseph handles some trial and testing.   We’ll see how Joseph’s trust in God’s timing carries him through disappointment.

Good Plans - Joseph | Judah | Pastor Chris Heller   Genesis 37:12-36 How can this be a good plan? Joseph has been rejected, abandoned and thrown into a pit, only to be sold to a caravan of Ishmaelite's on their way to Egypt!   Some might say, "Where is God in this? How could a loving God allow this to happen to Joseph? I thought God was a good God?"   This Sunday we continue our story in Egypt as...

Good Plans - Joseph | The Pit | Pastor Chris Heller   Genesis 37:12-36 Isn’t it GOOD to know that God has provided a roadmap for all of His children to follow (Romans 12:9-21), as well as a life for all His children to emulate  (Genesis 37:12-36), in how we overcome and respond to all the evil we are surrounded by? Within this very dark world, we’ve been called to shine our light.   God is GOOD… a...

Grace To You - Galatians | At The Cross | Pastor Chris Heller Galatians 6:10-18 Join us this Sunday as we conclude our summer series in the book of Galatians! We've seen how Paul began his letter to the Galatians harshly, with agitation over the lies they were believing. But by the time he finishes his writing, he has a very different tone. What could have caused such a change in his message?

Grace To You - Galatians | Bringing In The Sheaves | Pastor Gabe Vanderstel   Galatians 6:7-9 Have you ever tried your hand at growing your own produce? It takes quality seeds, healthy soil, regular watering, and protection from harmful elements. The hope, of course, is to enjoy a harvest so abundant and sweet that everyone delights in the fruit. The law of sowing and reaping is simple and unchang...

Grace To You - Galatians | Tie That Binds | Pastor Jon Adams   Galatians 6:1-6 I was raised with a deep appreciation for the military. The bravery, valor, and mindset of the American soldier has made the United States the greatest fighting force on the planet. While every soldier is committed to the completing of the mission, soldiers also have a responsibility to each other—a solemn duty to look...

Grace To You - Galatians | Fruit of the Spirit | Pastor Chris Heller   Galatians 5:15-26 Remember all those great kid church songs we learned growing up? "Deep and Wide", "Obedience Is...", "Who Built the Ark?", "Rise, Shine and Give God the Glory, Glory"!   For many of us, those songs still echo in our childhood memories. I still remember the countless times we excitedly sang the song, “The fruit...

Grace To You - Galatians | Called To Freedom | Jason Black   Galatians 5:1-15 This Sunday, we enter one of the most passionate sections in Paul’s letter to the Galatians, all about freedom. Not the world’s version of “do whatever you want,” but the kind of freedom only Jesus gives. In Christ, we’re set free from sin, shame, and striving. And we’re set free to walk in love, led by the Spirit. But P...

Grace To You - Galatians | Just As I Am | Pastor Chris Heller   Galatians 4:21-31 It has been so encouraging to read and hear the many testimonials of people in our church family, both in house and online, who have found our journey through the book of Galatians, specifically the focus on our identity in Christ, to be such a blessing! Join us again this week as we hear our author use this portion...

Grace To You - Galatians | Redeemed, Redeemed! | Pastor Chris Heller   Galatians 4:1-12 I grew up singing, “Redeemed, how I love to proclaim it, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb! Redeemed by His infinite mercy, His child and forever I am!" Do you know what it means to be redeemed? Have you ever explored the incredible depth of the doctrine of redemption? Join us this Sunday as we continue in our...

Grace To You - Galatians | Family Of God | Pastor Chris Heller Galatians 3:15-4:7 This Sunday we will finish unpacking Paul’s defense of the core doctrine of Justification by Faith. We will continue to ask, “what does it mean to be 'declared righteous'"?, both for Paul’s audience and the reader today. Join us as we hope to fully embrace our new family - the family of God - and in doing so, get use...

Grace To You - Galatians | Crucified With Christ | Pastor Chris Heller Galatians 2:20-3:14 This Sunday, we will continue our summer series in Galatians with one of the most memorable verses in all of scripture. Paul announces to the Galatians that he has been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer he who lives, but Christ who lives in him! What does this mean? What is Paul trying to convey? Wh...

Grace To You - Galatians | Face To Face | Pastor Jon Adams   Galatians 2:1-19 This series has challenged us to think of our lives as a soundtrack, speaking words of grace as we interact with others. But what about times when our tone needs to be stronger, sharper, or even confrontational?  This week, we’ll watch as two giants of the New Testament - Peter and Paul - square off in a public confronta...

Grace To You - Galatians | This Is My Story | Pastor Chris Heller Galatians 1:6-20 What’s your testimony? Some of us have dramatic stories of how God brought us to salvation. For others, it may have been a slow and quiet realization. But no matter how we came to faith in Christ, what's really important is that we share our testimony with others. This Father’s Day, we will hear Paul share his story...

Galatians | Grace To You | Pastor Chris Heller   What does it mean to live under grace? Do you have to keep the Law to be a Christian? All of it, or just part of it? Who is right? How will we know? As the gospel spread across the Roman world after Jesus’ earthly ministry, conflicts arose over what it meant to be a Christian. The Galatian church included both Jewish and Gentile converts, and a theo...

Firestarters | Bradley Dillingham   This week, youth director Brad Dillingham will lead us as we consider the life of Timothy and how Eunice and Lois, his mother and grandmother, instilled in him a life grounded in a devout and fervent faith. Ezekiel | Dry As A Bone | Pastor Chris Heller   Ezekiel 37 There are desert times in all of our lives, sometimes the deserts of our own choosing.  But the vision of Ezekiel reminds us God is in the business of renewal!   “Just because you can’t go back and change how it started, doesn’t mean you can’t start where you are and change how it ends!”

Ezekiel | Heart Of Stone | Pastor Chris Heller   Ezekiel 35 & 36 Have you ever known someone who had a stubborn, cold, heart of stone toward the things of God? Maybe that’s even a part of your testimony?    In Ezekiel 36:26 God says, “And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”   D...

We will see Ezekiel being called to perform his responsibility as a watchman, regardless of whether God’s sheep listen to the Shepherd's voice or not.
