Deuteronomy 4, Moses warned the people first that they must go in and possess the Promised Land, but that then (verses 26-27), once they were in, he said, ‘You’re going to go through difficulty and trial.’ When I preach the Gospel, I am a realist. I do not tell people that coming to Christ is suddenly an end to all their problems, everything will be transformed, living on cloud nine, twanging a ha...

Jesus said, ‘When you pray say, “Our Father in heaven… Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.”’ I was telling the congregation in the football stadium, if you want forgiveness, we have to forgive those who have sinned against us; amongst the 20,000 in the stadium, there were the former members of the secret police who persecuted you and your fami...

I don’t read anywhere in the New Testament that Jesus or the Apostles engaged in ‘spiritual warfare’, binding demons BEFORE they could minister freely somewhere. Talking to our Heavenly Father, yes. Seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit, yes. Because, through Jesus, by the Spirit we have DIRECT access to the Father - Eph 2:18! The promise of the Father is that when we receive the Holy Spirit, we...

Jesus said, ‘When you pray say, “Our Father in heaven… Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.”’ If we want forgiveness, we have to forgive those who have sinned against us. I can remember one of the most memorable meetings I've been in, it was in Timisoara, Romania, just after the collapse of communism. Under Ceaușescu there was terrible persecut...

From the very first ‘EuroVision’ East/West Conference the Holy Spirit gave me a ‘Vision’ of what God could do if I had the faith to believe in a God of the impossible! That Vision has been in my heart for almost 40 years – and is not yet completed. That’s why God has called me to work in the outer parts of that Soviet Empire – and the same miracle which led to Ukraine’s freedom and revival will le...

Dear brothers, I beg you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to stop arguing among yourselves. Let there be real harmony so that there won’t be splits in the church. I plead with you to be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. For some of those who live at Chloe’s house have told me of your arguments and quarrels, dear brothers. Some of you are saying, “I am a follower of Paul”; and others...

Next morning, Sunday, I woke early with the memory of what had happened the previous night burning within me. I got out of bed with such a sense of excitement, this was to be the first day of my new life. I was the first to go downstairs that morning, full of expectation that a major event was about to happen – maybe the preacher wouldn’t turn up and they would call on me – but whatever happened,...

The devil was saying, ‘Don’t listen to God, you are doing enough. You are a Christian, preaching the Gospel; that is enough.’ And God said, ‘No, it isn’t!’ He said to me, I want you! I could get no peace until I turned to the Lord and surrendered everything to Him. God did not tell me to be an evangelist. He didn’t call me to be a pastor. What God said to me that day, when I was 15 years old, was,...

So many people say that they want the power of God - power to see their prayer's answered, power to see healing miracles, power to be delivered from all that is wrong in their lives - I want to show you that the power is in the Gospel, and once you have received that power, it should be increasing. With each new day, and each new miracle, the power of God should increase in your life.

I was 15, already preaching the Gospel, evangelising in the school. I can remember being on holiday, my brother and I were staying with some Christians, and on the Saturday night we were on the beach. I knew that God was talking to me. I could not get any peace until I left the others: I could feel a battle in my heart – the devil was saying, ‘Don’t listen to God, you are doing enough. You are a C...

Jesus said, You did not choose Me, I chose you! Do you understand the significance of this statement? I am an evangelist, but this wasn’t my choice, I knew from the beginning, God had chosen me. He had called me for a purpose.

Now you have every grace and blessing; every spiritual gift and power for doing his will are yours during this time of waiting for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. And he guarantees right up to the end that you will be counted free from all sin and guilt on that day when he returns. God will surely do this for you, for he always does just what he says, and he is the one who invited you into th...

Why are you afraid? God is in control! When Jesus is in the boat with you, even if He is asleep, it doesn't matter the severity of the storm, one word from Jesus and all will be well. All will be well with your family, health, finances, employment. Jesus will speak peace into every tumultuous situation. I believe the challenge to every one of us today is, why are you afraid? What are you afraid of...

Your sacrificial giving in this time of soaring costs and financial hardship, has enabled a powerful event to take place in Batumi on the Black Sea coast of Georgia in the Caucasus, where we are working together with a missionary church of Moslem converts, Adjarians who themselves all came to Christ through powerful miracles of healing or deliverance from drugs and alcohol.  'Fire of Revival' and...

Paul opens by greeting the church in Corinth and reminding them that they are called by God to belong to Jesus Christ, enriched with spiritual gifts as they wait for His return. He thanks God for His grace toward them and assures them that God is faithful and will keep them strong. Paul then addresses a serious problem: divisions in the church. Believers are lining up behind different leaders and...

My father said that it is not just preaching which brings people to repentance. He said you’ve not yet received the Holy Spirit; he told me, the Bible says Jesus taught His disciples the first lesson in evangelism when He said, “When the Holy Spirit is come, He (not you, David), He, will convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgement.” My father said, you need the Holy Spirit. I want to emp...

Aged 13, I became anxious to evangelise in my church. Of course I was not allowed. Eventually after much persuasion, it was decided that, as they did not use the church on Fridays, I could have it then. Together with the other young people we advertised, arranged a worship group, and I was the preacher. It all went according to plan, except for one thing. That night I went home really distressed a...

If you are believing for a healing miracle, Jesus said in Mark 16:17-18, 'And these signs will follow those who believe, they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.' Jesus doesn't lie. The Bible doesn't lie. If you believe, put your hand on your sickness and pray for your healing in Jesus Name. First, I will pray for you, then I will lead you in prayer. 'Healing Stream' & 'Holy is...

When God wanted to bring His people out of Egypt, Pharaoh said, ‘No!’ God used Moses until Pharaoh said, ‘Yes!’ God uses men. But only men and women willing to yield to His authority. I am not a big man with a little God – I am a little man with a big God! I may be a little David with a Goliath of a problem, but with my God I can kill him! Take the land! Possess the promises of God. So many believ...

Spiritual warfare is not merely against the devil, it is also when you fight your own unbelief. My God answers prayer. If you are totally convinced, God CANNOT fail. But it takes a lot of faith to believe God to work miracles.  Fight against the devil by taking authority over him in Jesus’ Name. Command him to get out and the problem to go! Exercise the gift of faith, NOW, in a new way – this is n...

Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say there is no resurrection of the dead? If there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised, and if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is in vain and your faith is in vain...  If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile, and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have die...

You have to make a conscious decision, either to continue to live ‘normally’ or to live in a faith-experience of letting God’s Word govern your decisions. It is a command of God that we must possess and receive all that God has for us. It is not an option – obey! It takes faith to possess all that God has given and act on it. Real faith does not come easily, but it is a specific gift from God thro...

What happens when we die? As Christians we believe in the resurrection of Christ. We know from reading the Gospel that there were many witnesses to the resurrection. And because Christ was raised, we can know with certainty that we too will be raised from the dead.  Paul argues that if there is no resurrection, then Christ has not been raised, and if Christ has not been raised, faith is futile, si...

It is easy for us as believers to read and hear about these things that happened in the Bible without personally identifying with them. But if God did these things in the past, why not believe for them today? Some Christians would dismiss miracles like speaking in tongues and healing by saying either that these were in the past, or that they were ‘dispensational’, that they can only happen at cert...

When I first realised that the promises of both the Old and New Testaments were not just for the Jews in the past and for the first disciples, but also for me as an inheritor of the same promises as a ‘son of God’, it opened up a whole new experience for me. Whilst receiving my healing from throat cancer many years ago began to lead me into a more positive experience, it was the miracle which fina...
