After fifteen years of betrayal, separation, and alienation, Joseph's family is reunited. Rather than bitterness and revenge, forgiveness and reconciliation fill the heart of this former slave-turned-prime minister. Before it's over, God has taken the sinfulness of humanity and brought salvation from the wreckage. What a Jesus thing to do.

Joseph's story is one of betrayal, false accusation, slavery, imprisonment... on and on it goes. And then, "after two years" Pharaoh had a dream. Suddenly, things that made no sense fell into place. In retrospect we can see God patiently working His plan of salvation behind the scenes. As it turns out, Joseph's rescue is just another piece of a bigger rescue God has been up to. It makes you wonder...

In our third episode, Justin Wampler explores Genesis' description of Joseph's success as he sits trapped in prison. Consider the possibility that while your challenges, frustrations, and longings are real and true, there is something even bigger going on. The doorway to these bigger things won't be opened by the cupbearer in our story. It all opens up because, "God was with him."

Join us as we consider the challenges of living in two worlds at the same time, and the impact of forced perspective as the things that are happening right now loom large in our view and dwarf larger, more important things that are yet in the distance. Our study begins in Genesis 37 with the youthful, proud teenager, Joseph, sold...
