We have been unpacking what it can mean to touch our world through Jesus. We conclude this series of talks with the most profound impact one might have—introducing someone into a life changing relationship with Jesus.

The spirit of generosity is beautifully portrayed in the redemptive act of Christ laying down his life for us. As we experience his generosity in our lives, we are privileged to express that same redemptive generosity to others. It is the expression of our overflowing joy in Christ. Let our generosity be grace-filled, restorative, and abundant through Christ.

We have been talking about the things that we can do to touch our world through Jesus. Many of us want to do something. However, there’s a way we can do something that seems rather passive or inactive—it’s prayer. We want to explore how prayer can make a difference in our world.

The world is filled with injustice. It is a global problem. The God who created us abhors injustice and is filled with indignation against abusers. As the church we are called to represent the heart of God for those who are oppressed, exploited, discriminated against and violated. We are called to touch our world through Jesus.

No one has impacted our world like Jesus, yet he didn’t wield power or political influence. You can touch your world the same way Jesus did.

All of us who have started something with enthusiasm recognize that beginning is easier than finishing. This applies to our spiritual life also. Some believers start with a bang but don’t finish well. There is a surprised case study in the Bible that underscores the danger of finishing poorly. There is a secret to sustaining wise living and finishing well.
