Journey to the Fringe
Journey to the Fringe
Thanks for checking out our podcast! We look at fringe topics often neglected, or ill discussed, in a light hearted and open manner. These topics run the gambit from the mundane water pollution, recycling, and tax evasion to the fantastical moth persons, time travellers, and paranormal. For us there’s no cryptid too creepy, topic too trivial, or djinn to dreary. Also we like to do exposes on assholes of the UFO community. To keep things fresh (and also because we aren’t really sure how to start podcasts) we start every week off with a Fringey Mini recent news article and discussion (It’s the p...

There’s a mystery a foot 12.05.2023 1:01:38
Did you hear about all those feet washing up on the west coast of Canada? It may sound like the set up to a bad pun, but this is serious... so the puns are restricted to the title (and maybe later on in this description who knows). Over the course of a decade 20 feet washed up on shore, most of them in thoroughly described shoes, others in vaguely described boots. This is an issue somehow unique t...
Tales of my extinction are greatly exaggerated 05.05.2023 58:56
We had a lot of fun talking about de-extinction last week right? Well what if it turns out some of these extinct boys don't even need to be de-extincted??? that's right they've just been hiding outside of most humans for the last few millennia. In the intro we discuss the relatable Vladmir Putin who may...
Mu-ve over Atlantis, there's another lost continent 07.04.2023 1:05:08
If a lost continent was a barn animal what sound would it make? Mu You are welcome to use that one at your next black tie affair... should any of our other previous tips fail to work (but what are the odds on that right??). Today we talk abut the lost continent of Mu. First proposed in the 1800s by Augustus Le Plongeon, this is a weird one and lets not pretend we wont eventually wind up in some so...
Need some small talk? Here are three cryptids 31.03.2023 46:27
In the intro Taylor intrigues us with an article about the fermi paradox, you may remember the Fermi Paradox from another Journey to the Fringe Episode... where we also discussed it. Now Andy is an interesting guy, he received multiple degrees and practiced law in the state of Washington for many years never receiving a complaint leading to penalty. We will cover that time he wrote a book while in jail (also why he was in jail); how he bullied his way into claiming he came up with the plate humanity sent out on the Pioneer Space Probes; his claim that Nasa is both occult and ran by Nazis; his theory...
