Philippians 4:8 8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them]. Meditate on...

Because the Word is true, overcoming victory is our destiny!  *We can have joy unspeakable and be full of God’s glory, even in the midst of trials we face.  Our joy is independent of our circumstances, and we can rejoice in the Lord when things don’t go our way. Galatians 5:22-23 22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace,...

1 John 4:9 9 In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him. Jesus came and proved His love toward us so that we can live this life through Him, because He loves you. He spared not even Himself so that you may have every blessing of health, wholeness, and abu...

Fruit of the Spirit – He is Joy! We need to embrace this Word mirror that says who we really are! How we see ourselves matters.  Romans 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, whic...

Don’t let the enemy steal your joy – it’s your birthright!  We are not limited by natural circumstances.  We live in the supernatural, not superficial; the world’s way is subnormal for the believer. Look in God’s Word and see Jesus’ image of you – joy, love, peace; receive from God.  Focus on NOW with Jesus – not your past or future, or circumstances.  Touch Him… He touches you.  John 15:11 11 I h...

Isaiah 40:29 29 He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]. Are you confident in your strength?  *If you are, it hinders your walk with God.  This journey makes even the strong, weak!  You are made weak to need Him.  He is our Rescue - not you! *Our problem is not our weakness; it is relying on our stren...

1 John 4:16 We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him. God in His kindness brings most big things piece by piece so we can hold them firmly! In the little by little and step by step on the way to every promi...

By faith, receive it!  Express it!  Joy is our portion at all times! Psalm 97:11 11 Light is sown for the [uncompromisingly] righteous and strewn along their pathway, and joy for the upright in heart [the irrepressible joy which comes from consciousness of His favor and protection]. Isaiah 51:11 11 [The Lord God says] And the redeemed of the Lord shall return and come with singing to Zion; everlas...

The number 1 reason to give thanks as a lifestyle – it is God’s will, word, and way f...

You get what you honor; be thankful, receive increase. John 6:22-23 22 The next day the crowd [that still remained] standing on the other side of the sea realized that there had been only one small boat there, and that Jesus had not gone into it with His disciples, but that His disciples had gone away by themselves. 23 But now some other boats from Tiberias had come in near the place where they at...

When you praise Him, He will raise you (from your troubles).   1 Corinthians 10:10 10 Nor discontentedly complain as some of them did—and were put out of the way entirely by the destroyer (death). Complaining grieves the Holy Spirit; it is unbelief and a lack of faith towards God’s heart towards you.  Colossians 3:15b And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]. Instead of compla...

Thanksgiving positions us for hope and for faith.   Psalm 34:1-3 1 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My life makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble and afflicted hear and be glad. 3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. When you complain, you remain When you praise Him, He raises you Thankfulness is a gate to enter – a...

Zechariah 9:12 12 Return to the stronghold [of security and prosperity], you prisoners of hope; even today do I declare that I will restore double your former prosperity to you. How do you have abundant life?  JESUS! 1 John 4:17, 19 17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assur...

Isaiah prophesied it, John expressed it, Paul wrote about it, Matthew recorded it.  God has become one of us – Immanuel!   1 Timothy 3:16 16 And great and important and weighty, we confess, is the hidden truth (the mystic secret) of godliness. He [God] was made visible in human flesh, justified and vindicated in the [Holy] Spirit, was seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the...

Christmas…  Our part is to remember the true meaning and reflect it with our words and life!  When your life speaks, people want to hear your words. We do celebrate His birth, but Christmas is much more than that.  This was a moment of fulfillment; the culmination of hundreds of years of prophecy.  It is not just a story of a baby Christ; it is a story about us – we need a Savior.  We need the per...

Mary has a life message – answer God’s calling and you are chosen!  When you surrender with your “yes” in faith, this results in God’s supernatural in your life; a daily yes results in an amazing discovery journey. God wants you to know H...

2 Timothy 1:7 7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. God takes our natural and puts His supernatural in us. God’s purpose for your life requires “Jesus factor”, and your all-in, wholehearted commitment to Him. Josep...
