Wrestle Chop: WWE Wrestling Podcast

I never really understood the hype around Kenny Omega. I always thought he was good, but I never completely got why so many wrestling fans considered him one of the best in the world. After watching this, something finally clicked. In this video, I talk about Kenny Omega, his performance, his intensity, his storytelling, and the moments that finally made me understand what everyone has been seeing...

Who will WWE put in the Money in the Bank matches this year? I've got my predictions — seven men, seven women, and one absolutely ridiculous bonus pick that could make Money in the Bank unforgettable. On the men's side, I'm predicting Gunther, Trick Williams, Solo Sikoa, Je'Von Evans, Penta, LA Knight, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Dominik Mysterio. On the women's side, I've got Lyra Valkyria,...

Why does Bron Breakker desperately needs a major victory, why Oba Femi can't afford to take a loss, and what the result could mean for both men moving forward. WWE RAW delivered another huge night, with major developments involving Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Rey Mysterio, Chad Gable, and the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Tournament. But one of the biggest announcements...

THE BLOODLINE IS BACK! THAT WAS PEAK WWE! WWE RAW may have been a mixed bag tonight, but that ending was EVERYTHING. Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, The Usos, Jacob Fatu and LA Knight delivered one of the best Bloodline segments we've seen in a long time. Solo refusing to fall back in line, Roman playing the arrogant heel, and LA Knight coming to Solo's aid made this feel like the Bloodline story had su...

The real story behind Kevin Owens and CM Punk’s hate goes back over 20 years — and now, with their match officially on the horizon, that history has become more important than ever. After everything we uncovered in the first chapter, CM Punk and Kevin Owens continued their deeply personal confrontation on SmackDown. This wasn't simply another wrestling promo. Once again, they went back to their sh...

SmackDown gave us one of the most painful moments of the night when Matt Cardona stepped up to defend his wife, Chelsea Green, against Gunther — and things went VERY badly for him. Cardona tried to stand up for Chelsea, but The Ring General made an example out of him. That was brutal. But this raises a bigger question: is WWE turning Matt Cardona into a jobber to the stars? Cardona has the experie...

WWE SmackDown Review August 14, 2026 — tonight’s SmackDown delivered a wild opening with Chelsea Green and GUNTHER, plus major developments involving CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes. I’m breaking down everything from tonight’s WWE SmackDown, including the hilarious and chaotic opening segment with Chelsea Green and GUNTHER. I honestly thought Chelsea was about to lose her champi...

Swerve Strickland is BACK… but could he be getting some new partners? 👀 AEW Dynamite just dropped a massive hint that The New Day could be heading to AEW, and we’re breaking down EVERYTHING that happened on the road to All In! In this AEW Dynamite review, we talk about Swerve’s return and the possibility of a New Day alliance, MJF stealing the #2 spot in the All In Casino Gauntlet, Jon Moxley vs....

The real story behind Kevin Owens and CM Punk’s hate goes back over 20 years. What happened between Kevin Owens and CM Punk on SmackDown wasn't just two wrestlers having a tense confrontation. There is a long, complicated history behind these two men that stretches all the way back to their Ring of Honor days — and this deep dive breaks down all of it. From the infamous Ring of Honor T-shirt incid...

# They’re About to Ruin Solo Sikoa Solo Sikoa has finally become one of the funniest and most entertaining people in WWE, and now it looks like the Bloodline might be pulling him right back in. On Raw, Jey Uso defeated Solo in a high-stakes match with the stipulation that Solo would have to “fall in line” and return to the Bloodline if he lost. And that is the problem: LET SOLO COOK! Solo has comp...

WWE is BURYING Dominik Mysterio! On Monday Night Raw, Dirty Dom took another loss, this time to Dragon Lee, and I'm honestly at the point where WWE needs to make a decision: either start treating Dominik like the champion he is, or take the championship off him. Dominik Mysterio is currently the AAA Mega Champion, but WWE's presentation of him has been completely different. Over the last several m...

WWE BETTER NOT TAKE THE TITLE FROM CHELSEA GREEN! Chelsea Green finally became an Interim WWE Women's Champion after years of being treated like the ultimate underdog — and now, just days after winning the championship, she's dealing with a broken orbital bone. Chelsea confirmed that she suffered the injury during her first match after winning the championship and had to go to the emergency room....

Is WWE finally figuring out what to do with Cody Rhodes? After last night’s SmackDown, I honestly think we might be seeing a much more interesting version of “The American Nightmare.” Cody came into the show furious after Randy Orton’s interference at SummerSlam cost him the Undisputed WWE Championship, and instead of just spinning his wheels, WWE immediately gave him something personal to fight f...

SmackDown fell flat tonight. Coming off SummerSlam, WWE had Kevin Owens returning as the No. 1 contender, CM Punk as champion, Randy Orton turning against Cody Rhodes, and the surprise debut of Tatum Paxley alongside the returning Alexa Bliss. On paper, this should have been a loaded episode of SmackDown — but somehow, the show never really found its rhythm. The biggest issue for me was Kevin Owen...

AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam Mexico delivered one of the best episodes of the year. MJF is back, Will Ospreay and Mark Davis put on another incredible match, and Speedball Mike Bailey vs. Kyle Fletcher absolutely stole the show. From start to finish, this episode never slowed down. This felt like the complete opposite of SummerSlam—just all gas, no brakes. The pacing was excellent, the crowd was on fi...

Rey Mysterio made it official today! Following WWE Raw, Rey announced that he met with Roman Reigns and the two agreed to a huge match on September 14 in Mexico on RAW. The only mystery left is... who will Roman Reigns face? In this video, I break down the most likely luchador opponents for The Tribal Chief. From Rey Mysterio himself to El Grande Americano, Mr. Iguana, Omos, and other possible sur...

Did WWE deliver on the biggest party of the summer? Let's talk about it! Tonight's card featured: Undisputed WWE Championship: CM Punk...

SummerSlam 2026 Night 1 is in the books, and I've got plenty to say! From the shocking Hell in a Cell main event between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi to CM Punk defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes, this show gave fans a lot to talk about. Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar closing Night 1 was a statement by WWE, and I'll break down whether it was the right call. In this review, I'll...

The SummerSlam go-home edition of SmackDown finally gave us what this rivalry needed. Cody Rhodes and CM Punk stopped talking and started throwing punches, bringing some much-needed intensity to one of WWE's biggest championship matches. It may have come a week later than many fans expected, but the physical confrontation helped make this feud feel more personal heading into SummerSlam. I'll break...

Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay delivered one of the best babyface vs. babyface promos I've seen in a long time. They proved you don't need forced drama or cheap shots to build excitement—you just need great storytelling and believable characters. In this AEW Dynamite review, I break down why their segment worked so well, what AEW got right this week, and why it stood out compared to other recent wre...

SummerSlam is almost here, so it's time to put every WWE storyline under the microscope. In this video, I'm grading every SummerSlam match build one by one and explaining exactly why each feud earned its grade. Some rivalries have done an excellent job building anticipation, while others have struggled to generate excitement. I'll break down what's worked, what hasn't, and reveal which three match...

Danhausen Joe Hendry concert segment was bad and embarrassing. Instead of creating excitement, the segment completely missed the mark for me. In this video, I break down why this was one of the weakest moments on RAW, what didn't work, and whether WWE has a plan for Danhausen moving forward. I'll explain why the comedy felt off, why the execution didn't land, and whether this is something WWE can...
