› Production notes‹ Production notes Another quick track made almost exclusively on the m8 ios app this week. I'm still busy with traveling, but I tried to put together a trance-like track. Also a bit of playing around with making melodies from inverted chord notes. Submitting it at the very last minute. Go speed treasure crew go! Thanks for listening! I'm gonna be a little s...

Made this in the last 15 minutes before the deadline. Exhilarating! 2026 CC Attribution Share Alike (BY-SA)

Had my Bday September 22nd, time flies, been having both one of the best times of my life, but also have that feeling it won't always last. This beat gives me some really good vaporwave nostalgia vibes. I hope you also like the more deep fall feels. <3 Done with one of my best friends Marshall. Three quarters done! Starting to feel the burn-out and almost dropped out this week. But I'm still here and I'm actually quite satisfied with this little track. 2026 CC Attribution Share Alike (BY-SA)

Man, I keep naming my projects after the wrong week, for like the 8th week in a row... I thought it was week 40 this week, oops! I've been wanting to produce a hardcore-like track, so here goes. Needed that happy piano line in my life. I tried to do a gabber-style kick with lots of distortion but gave up early on. Lots of ideas and techniques still to explore in future weeks, if I want to kee...

Lots of Valheim this week so I can hear big influences there.  Got this one in under the wire I've been figuring out how to finish guitars with nitrocellulose lacquer - daunting, exhausting, probably not worth it but I had to at least try.  Definitely understand why folks charge what they do in order to do this kind of work - same with fretwork.  I probably lack the patience fo...

So.. this is a track I started a while back.. it still doesn't feel complete to me somehow. I'm completely blocked with it and have been for some time, so I decided to go ahead and post it to get some honest feedback. Personally.. I think it's a bit too long and repetitive, and that it needs more variations.. Maybe some distant acoustic guitar during the quieter part.. Maybe some mo...

The idea for this track started with the vocal. I heard the vocal and started imagining what kind of atmosphere I could build around it. I wanted to make something darker, with some energy, but without making it too busy. I tried different sounds and beats until I started to find the right direction. One of the things I spent quite a bit of time on was the synth. I tried different sounds until I f...

I've not produced at this tempo for quite a while, but was practising the more neuro style bass on this. It's almost all Ableton Live native devices, apart from some transient shaping with DS-10 The modulation in the sound design uses odd numbered repeats to give constantly evolving texture Also I was trying to structure the production to be more playable live in Ableton. The way I organ...

I had a specific industrial ambient vibe I had in mind for this week's track, but couldn't really figure out how to make the sounds I wanted. Then I got bored of this track so I stopped working on it. But it still counts towards the WB streak, so here it is :) 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial (BY-NC)

A busy week of travel and weekend of events at home left me with a bit of time to get this piece done: one session Saturday afternoon and one Saturday night. The result has a lot in common with what I've been doing, and maybe a reliance on reflex. There's the pause-for-breath-at-the-end-of-a-bar pattern I tend toward, arpeggiations, fingerpicking, sliding chords around. It sounded all ri...

The was created entirely with the FM synth in the Dirtywave M8 (except for my voice, for that i used that TE Ting thing with a custom program). Reminds me of stuff I used to make back in school tracking layers of TX81Z into. Also, still working on having great production value and clear mixes without losing my edge. Chorus vocal left intentionally cringe. lol, I thought it fit with the energy of w...
