Quick little 90s style Big Beat track made in under 30 mins Sunday night, this year I'm honestly struggling to find the time to make Weekly Beats of the calibre of previous years but I have high hopes for the coming weeks. With that said, this is also what I love about Weekly Beats. Even though I've become time poor with 3 kids, school, netball, dance classes, swimming lessons, day job,...

This week's track ended up with a simple set of chords, an arpeggiated motif and a dub baseline. After setting up the chords, I ended up creating multiple layers of pads that were mixed down to a single bus channel. I then set up the motif line, which was an arpeggiated synth. I then set up a very dub heavy bassline. I finally added some noise beds that were gated to create some rhythmic elem...

sort of 'segue' pieces between levels in the live a/v performance for the suture blue x royb0t segment during glitch n games 2. all clips were selected from each level song and adjusted, tweaked, reversed, stretched, and i really performed all of this in the flow. this is more linear all to the same bpm without any big transition effects (fade to grey sort of big reverb-filter washes). t...

Another crazy week adjust to what life is right now! wrote this song off the back of recording the previous week's song - just came out of nowhere - I have no idea why I went all in on the card game/casino theming on the lyrics, it just kind of worked? recorded and mixed and 'mastered' in about an hour - I am getting very efficient at workflow at this point! Only a single vocal line...

Another one made with M8 tracker on iOS. Started out when I noticed a half-empty box of paper clips that I decided to sample. Turns out it was half full. 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Inspired by bright sunny autumn vibes, everything had a wonderful glow today with the yellow and orange leaves.  Went for a walk in the forrest with my son and then came back to finish this one up, encourage everyone to get outside and enjoy some fresh air and get some movement.  Thank you and see you next week. 2026 CC0 Creative Commons Zero (Public Domain)

152 bpm 8-bit uk hc rave breakbeat oldskool jungle tekkno Fast and furious. Found somewhat year-old 32 step bleep bloop uk hardcore melody that I made with M8 internal synths. Added some breakbeats and built all into a full smash. The middle oldskool rave part is very chaotic and it came out a bit too dull, but had no time to do much more with that part. All in all - needed to pull out something o...

Hi! Lol I haven't released my instrument yet. But I managed to make this track with it (only with it, except some quick Granulator appearances). Have a nice week! 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

At some point, everyone is an explorer - searching for a place. Lonely and disaffected, people long for belonging. Everyone yearns - and so, no one is really alone. We're all already at a place, together. Featuring tenor saxophone, searching, with reverb and delay. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

week 40..."Dance With You" Crushed out this track on Saturday morning then throughout the day. Chipped at it little by little. It feels great to share something I made that I actually enjoy. There's a few artifacts from clashing sounds and I tried hard to get all the instruments and vocals to be in the same key of A. The mix is pretty quiet and not balanced with my drums the best as...

My terrible neighbors just moved away.  Shared yard, let dog shit everywhere never picked it up.  Piled junk roof high, disassembled furniture leaving nails in driveway for feet or tires to find.  Had yard sales without telling anyone, let friends dump trash in our dumpster and recycling bins so they were full mid week.  They were ALWAYS IN THE YARD so I had to see them everyti...

Well, last week was the big truck move, couldn't have done it without my son, studio build starts soon but I did find the time to get a track done for this week (everything is in boxes but my laptop).  I may not be in NYC but the sentiment of the sample fits. The next chapter starts here. I hope everyone had a great week. Starting fresh, here's to new beginnings! In Lak'ech _mz...

finding our way . . . . started with some percussive rhythm that came to me this morning. it was too fast, so slowed it down and switched it up. turned into a yearning kind of vibe. felt it needed some lyrics or a melody on top of all my loops. found this acappella by Sergi Yaro and went to add it in and it felt pretty well situated! definitely some Postal Service vibes with the minimal percussion...

› notes‹ notes The back is slowly healing thankfully.  Though I can tell this is going to be one of those things I have to be aware of in the future.  Hopefully no slips any time soon :p This week the creative brain was in recovery mode so noodles were required this morning. I wish I had something interesante to share but alas it be one of those weeks :) I hope all is well by...

did week 1 of weekdailybeats, using my existing criteria for what I think is good enough for weeklybeats and doing that every weekday. Here's one, which was originally an old m8 song that I worked on a bit. This is technically a revision of that revision, I ended up scratching this entire sequence I'd added because I didn't love it. 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Hi! ** Apologies if there is a boominess or if the mix is poor. Listening back before leaving for work on speakers and I'm noticing some awful stuff... Anyway, it's honestly been a bit of a f'd up and busy year and I'm terribly sad I dropped off from WB so quickly...I didn't want to let another week slip by so I wrote a little track this morning and decided to put some new...

D O   N O T   E A T Started this, said I was going to work on it more later, got sick, lost all brain, just fixed up some mistakes but not the arrangement matters I had initially planned on handling. It's fine. I still like it for what it is. Pulsar 23 doing that bass, Alpha Juno through Kinotone Ribbons doing that pad, Prophet 6 doing them blips in the background, Digitak...

Again a busy week. Lots of work and preparing the release of my album took a lot of time. But here is the 2nd experiment using samples from the Polyend's Palettes. Not my best work but it'll have to do for now. All made with the Synthstrom Deluge (as usual). In other news, my new album is out! It's called "Procession in the Garden" and it's a 36 minutes long ambient p...
