Welcome to She Wrestles with God, a daily devotional that will help you get to know God, practice prayer, and see more miracles. You can love God, pray every single day, and still be doing the absolute most to stay completely in control of the one area you’re begging Him to fix. If you’ve been white-knuckling the plan, the relationship, the money, the timing, or the outcome, this episode is a big hug for me and to you. Choose Your Words Carefully (Proverbs 18:21) 29.09.2026 15:36
There are words you're using every single day that you don't even realize are adding weight to your already heavy load. In this replay, we're paying extra close attention to the seemingly harmless phrases and filler words that may accidentally be reducing our confidence and even keeping us from receiving our blessings. (We'll be back LIVE tomorrow, I promise!) Bible Verse: Proverbs...
Praying WITH Your People ( Matthew 18:19) 25.09.2026 15:05
My friend Aliha is in town today, which felt like the perfect opportunity to replay her episode where we talk about praying with your partner (and also with and for your family, your best friends, and your favorite people). This is one of my favorite prayer practices that has improved my friendships and solidified my relationship with my now fiance / future husband. (For anyone listening to this S...
God Will Give You The Words (Jeremiah 1 : 9) 24.09.2026 16:06
I'm on the road this week, so I thought this LIVE that I did ahead of going on stage would be the perfect replay to help anyone struggling with words or knowing what to say remember that God is here to rescue you, especially when you feel most incapable or unqualified. If you have a big stage or a big conversation coming up, this one is for you. Bible Verses: Jeremiah 1 : 4-10 Follow Giselle o...
Stop Putting Life on Hold (Jeremiah 29:5-7) 22.09.2026 24:50
This is for those of you who have accidentally put your lives on pause while waiting for God to explain the next chapter. You're not sure what to do, so you freeze, afraid God's plan might miss you. This is especially hitting me before the wedding, as I wrestle with ambition and my plans for motherhood. Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29 : 5-7 Jeremiah 29 : 11 Follow Giselle on Instagram: https://ww...

You keep asking God what’s next, waiting for the sign, the answer, the open door, the voice, something, ANYTHING that makes the decision so blatantly obvious. And then, silence.... For what feels like forever. Pastor Doug Wekenman joins us to talk about just that. BLAME IT ON THE ALCOHOL (Proverbs 31:4-5) 18.09.2026 21:48
We're going viral again, so let's talk about it. (Video linked below, in case you missed it.) On the surface, we're talking about ALCOHOL today (and showing what the Bible says about drinking and getting drunk), but, really, we're exploring any of the substances, insecurities, or habits that make us less of ourselves or say things we don't actually mean. (Here's that video,...
How Jesus Said to Pray (Matthew 6:9-13 - The Lord's Prayer // Our Father) 17.09.2026 33:07
I asked if you wanted to do a serious breakdown of the Lord's Prayer, so here it is: the blueprint for exactly how Jesus instructed us to pray AND the prayer that has been proven to improve the health of your brain. Maybe you know this prayer (perhaps so well, you've taken it for granted), or maybe this is brand new, but I invite you to find something to write with and write on to slow it...
When You Hate Your Job (Colossians 3:23) 16.09.2026 19:23
It’s easy to blame the job, the boss, the kids, the customer, the chores, the schedule, or the market on why this season of you feels a little checked out or a lot burnt out. But sometimes, we're not actually run down by the work itself, but because we're running on empty from something so much bigger. ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE (Matthew 21:22) 15.09.2026 31:16
There is a difference between thinking about prayer and actually stopping in the middle of the mess to pray. Not later. Not once has everyone calmed down. Not after you’ve already spiraled, snapped, overexplained, or tried to fix it yourself. If there’s an area of your life you keep trying to handle without God, girl, this one might hit close to home. Bible Verses: Matthew 21 : 22 Philippians 4 :...
THAT AIN'T YOUR HUSBAND (Ephesians 5:21-28) 04.09.2026 20:22
If you've been handing out WIFE behavior to someone who hasn't made it obvious that he's ready to be your husband, this episode is for you. You're spending the night, planning a whole future in your head, maybe even doing his laundry -- and you're still not even sure where this relationship is going. Today, we're reviewing one of my FAVORITE sections in the Bible and what i...
The Lord ALWAYS Provides (Philippians 4:19) 03.09.2026 26:16
I really didn't know if I was going to be able to pay my bills or my team, and my mind began to spiral to so many of the most desperate places of doubt... In this episode, we're talking about false sources of comfort, detaching from the things (or jobs or people) we're accidentally putting ahead of God, being generous (especially when it feels like we have nothing to give), and the way...
Stop Hiding Your FAITH (Jeremiah 9:20) 02.09.2026 21:17
You've been feeling a pull to talk about God -- at work, with your friends, or on your page. But every single time, the fear of judgment takes over. This is your push and your reminder (and also a big hug of courage) that you absolutely should not hide your faith (and the GREATEST LOVE OF ALL). How a TRUE FRIEND Loves (Proverbs 17:17) 01.09.2026 21:16
Not every friend is meant to stay in your life forever. In this episode, we talk about the difference between someone who is just here for a good time versus the one who is here to stay, PLUS the challenging reality that comes with that friend who really loves you, knows you, and knows GOD too. If you've been praying for new friends (or taking yours for granted), this is for you. Bible Verse:...
Open Up Your Dang BIBLE (John 1:1) 28.08.2026 23:00
If you’ve ever wanted to read the Bible but immediately felt confused, intimidated, distracted, or just DUMB this replay is for you. Because podcasts, devotionals, sermons, and Bible studies are beautiful starting points, but they were never meant to replace actually getting to know God and His Word for yourself. (And, girl, I promise you are not too busy, too behind, or too unqualified to begin.)...
When Your Soul Feels OVERWHELMED (Matthew 26:37-38) 26.08.2026 20:05
This is especially for you, if you're feeling overwhelmed and especially if you're feeling ALONE. (Maybe phrases like, "Nobody else can relate" or " You wouldn't understand" or "It's fine, I can just do this by myself" have floated through your mind or out loud to those around you.) This episode is a friendly reminder that even Jesus got sad, got scare...
Are You IDOLIZING Your Relationships? (Proverbs 7:2-4) 26.08.2026 19:39
This is especially for you, if you're the type to fall FAST and fall HARD. More than once, you've experienced a whisper that says, "This could be THE one," only to get ghosted, disappointed, and rejected AGAIN. And it's one thing to pray for your husband; but not too far in the danger zone is a longing to be chosen by man instead of God. In this episode, we talk about my pray...
How to SAVE Your Life (Matthew 16:25) 24.08.2026 17:44
Sometimes the very things making you feel "safe" are actually what's holding you back and keeping you stuck. In today's replay, we're talking about what we must be willing to let go of, cut off, or give up, in order to truly experience the Glory of God. Have You Learned Your Lesson Yet? (John 15:4) 21.08.2026 13:55
This is especially for you if you're trying to understand the difference between a blessing from God or just something (or someone) that feels good right now. In this replay, we go even deeper into Jesus' references to the branches, the fruits, and the vine, and the hardest prayer that I believe works EVERY SINGLE TIME. FOR THE SINGLE GIRLS (Proverbs 3:5-6 James 1:2-4 1 Peter 1:6-7) 20.08.2026 47:07
This replay is especially for (though not limited to) the SINGLE GIRLIES. It feels like everyone else is getting the ring, the baby, the answer, the blessing, or the life you thought would be yours by now. In this episode, I GET REAL with some of my crying on the bathroom floor stories, as well as the HEALING prompts, prayers, and SCRIPTURE that guided me to ready my heart for my husband. This is...
Your HARVEST is Coming (Galations 6:9) 19.08.2026 21:50
You've been at this so long that rejection started to feel more normal than a win ever could -- the job, the dates, the door that just keeps NOT opening. This is the RESET for when you're so ready to give up (and you're gonna wanna put this one on REPEAT for the hard mornings). Bring the JOY (feat. Jessica Janzen) 18.08.2026 1:05:06
Bringing the joy does NOT mean pretending everything is fine when it's not. In this replay conversation with Jessica Janzen, we talk about following God’s nudges, grief, motherhood, marriage, and the holy courage it takes to bring joy into rooms most people only know how to enter with sorrow. This is not about choosing joy because life is easy. It’s about trusting God when the miracle looks no...
TIRED of WAITING (Genesis 18 : 13-14) 17.08.2026 15:23
You believe God put a calling on your heart, but the WAIT can make you question everything you thought you knew -- including and especially God. In this replay, we're talking about that waiting season, especially when it comes to marriage and motherhood. If you’re tired of (EXHAUSTED from***) waiting, this is for you. Bible Verses: Genesis 18 : 13-14 Genesis 1 : 28 Jeremiah 1 : 5 Follow Gisell...
Using Sex to Feel Worthy ( Proverbs 2:16-17) 13.08.2026 23:33
This is one of those conversations I wish I would have had with a righteous woman sooner. In this episode, I’m talking about sex, temptation, validation, shame, intimacy, and what happens when we start asking God to REDEFINE something the world has made feel casual, transactional, meaningless or confusing. If sex, your bedroom, or your relationships are areas of your life you have kept God out of,...
Walk in the Way of LOVE (Ephesians 5:2) 12.08.2026 9:35
You think what you want is a man who will fight for you, but what you need it someone who truly understands (and appreciates) the responsibility of loving you. In this replay, we're talking about what a righteous man really looks like and what it really means for a man to get down on one knee.
