A true hero to dogs, singer-songwriter Christopher Paul Stelling, joins the Rocker Dog podcast to tell of his first-hand account of rescuing his current dog Opie as well as the stories behind his other rescues Honey Bee and Ida. Christopher just completed a successful Kickstarter campaign to release his next LP (a double album) which should be available by years end.

Therés is base in Sweden and has photographed a who's who of rockers including Metallica, The Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones and dozens more. Solo artist, and one half of the band Plains, Jess Williamson comes on the show to talk about the sudden and heartreaking loss of her beloved dog Frankie and the miracle dog Nana she found on the side of the highway in New Mexico two years ago. 

Singer-songwriter Mark Erelli joins the show this week to talk about his Lab-Weimaraner mix rescue dog Leo and how he helped Mark navigate a life-changing diagnosis of Retinitis Pigmentosa which is a degenerative eye disease that leads to blindness. Mark's stirring new album Lay Your Darkness Down , written in the wake of his diagnosis, was released on February 3rd via Soundly Music.
