Function Test 11.01.2020 3:01
A module burnt, I could smell it. But which one? I rebuild my modular systems module by module until I found the bad guy, which is now a dead guy. To test the modules, I used them … This is the part of the recording (that was running during the assembly) that I liked best – for whatever reason …

Levitation [disquiet0413] 01.12.2019 2:20
Disquiet Junto Project 0413: Highlight one piece of musical equipment for which you are particularly grateful. The Caustic App for Android and iOS (Mac, Windows) is a mobile DAW with a handful of included synths. Although I have much better instruments, virtual and real, I still use it very often, mainly because of its UI (which, compared to fx Korg Gadgets and its better sounding synths, is so mu...

A Stumpy Chord [disquiet0412] 23.11.2019 2:23
Disquiet Junto Project 0412: One Chord Wonder. The Assignment: Play an extended chord where the instrumentation of each note changes as the piece proceeds. I really just threw in notes until it felt halfway good at some point. It's GmM7, a minor major seventh chord. Here it's always G,B♭,D, F♯ without inversion, to stay true to the assignment (but I did not change the octave range of the selected...
Kosmische Synthesizer [disquiet0411] 17.11.2019 10:43
Disquiet Junto Project 0411: Wrapped Up. The Assignment: Record a piece of music as a gift for someone special to you. Okay, he may not be that special, but I'm giving this to Nicolas Steven Miller, the developer of the Kosmische Synthesizer, because I like his app and often toy with it. The track is made with Kosmische Pro -> Vox DelayLab -> Ditto Looper -> TC HOF2 and Reaper. Starting with some...
