Ark Builder Becomes Altar Builder 14.05.2021 5:00 ↓

God doesn't need a place to be. He is present everywhere. We need a place to worship. Noah builds an altar as a place of worship.

As Long As... 12.05.2021 4:37 ↓

God has grand plans for the world he created. As long as life goes on, let's not miss the divine appointments he has set for us.

Seasons of Life and Rhythms of Living 11.05.2021 3:27 ↓

Seasons are blessings from God. Rhythms help us experience them more fully.

Why Not Harsher Treatment? 10.05.2021 4:14 ↓

God wants more than mere outward obedience. He want our hearts.

What Noah Did Not Do 10.05.2021 4:42 ↓

Noah did not direct that a monument be erected in his honor. He built an altar and worshipped the Lord God.

Coming Home 06.05.2021 4:07 ↓

We live after the deliverance; but still wait for the fullness of our salvation to be experienced.

Twenty-Five or Six to Four? 05.05.2021 3:43 ↓

Do you know what time it is? God's time? Your time? When they intersect great blessings emerge.

Waiting for the Sprig 05.05.2021 4:19 ↓

Let's remember Noah's 150 days, his additional 2-½ months, and his 40 more days. And the dove. And the sprig of the olive tree that the dove will bring. I'm believing that the wait will be well worth it.

Day 152 04.05.2021 4:15 ↓

What do you do while you wait for the final victory celebration to begin? You don't lose hope.

Day 151 03.05.2021 4:41 ↓

Is today the 150th day of waiting? Maybe tomorrow will be day 151...a day of God's remembering.

Ruthless! 30.04.2021 4:10 ↓

Let's be real about God's people and the world's need for mercy, grace, and salvation.

What do we really know? 28.04.2021 4:30 ↓

We know precious little about God - and even the flood and Noah's ark. But the little we know is precious.

What's the big deal? 26.04.2021 3:38 ↓

Do you obey God because his commands make sense, or because you respect his character?

The Breadth of God's Provision 23.04.2021 3:40 ↓

How much do we really need along life's way?

Noah and... 21.04.2021 3:14 ↓

The story of Noah and the ark is really the story of Noah and God. We all have a place in the Story of God...through Jesus, for his glory, and our eternal joy.

The Power of One Little Word 21.04.2021 3:33 ↓

God will destroy the world, but he will save Noah and his family and the animals. Times may be difficult BUT God is always at work for our good.

Decks, Cubits, Doors, Rooms, and Windows 19.04.2021 3:25 ↓

God goes beyond just the basics - even when directing Noah to build the ark.

Do you want to be the exception? 19.04.2021 4:37 ↓

Too often we want to fit in rather than stand out from the crowd. God wants people to be exceptional in their love, grace, godliness, and mercy. Noah was such a man. Jesus is The Exception for all time.

What would make him do that? 16.04.2021 3:12 ↓

We do what we do because we believe what we believe. What do you believe? Are you showing it in everyday ways?

The Perfect Exception 14.04.2021 4:13 ↓

Evil is easily seen and all too often obvious. God's people need to be exceptions to that. And when we fail, we can thank God for the perfect exception in Jesus!

Object Lesson Writ Large 14.04.2021 4:31 ↓

How do you learn the hard lessons of life? Your own school of hard knocks? Or through the mistakes of others? Noah has something to teach us about God's ways - far beyond the flood.

Why are you sorry you made man, O God? 13.04.2021 4:45 ↓

What kind of grief did God experience in these ancient days when the evil of men and women grew unfettered?

Angels, Warriors, and Heroes 12.04.2021 4:53 ↓

Who are your heroes? Large and in charge people? Godly and humble servants? The Hero of Heaven is mighty to save...and we need such a hero desperately!

How do you spell relief? "N-O-A-H"? 08.04.2021 4:29 ↓

Noah's name means relief, rest, or comfort. But relief is not spelled N-O-A-H, or C-H-I-L-D-R-E-N, or S-P-O-U-S-E. There is, nonetheless, even here a prospect of something more.

How long do you want to live? 07.04.2021 4:22 ↓

Lots of people want to live to a ripe old age. How old do you want to get?
