Comic Picks #356: American Vampire 09.12.2021 36:55 ↓

It's a thoroughly readable take on vampirism, even as it gets more silly as it goes on.   Edit:  Oh, wait.  This will probably work better if I actually upload the episode with the post!

Comic Picks #355: Die 25.11.2021 24:40 ↓

Gillen & Hans' series is where RPG storytelling gets dark as it gets examined, and not necessarily for the better.

Rob is back to help me decide if this gala is worth attending.

Do a lot of great little moments make up for a lack of an overall direction in this run?

Cap gets political again, with disappointing results.

Comic Picks #349: Invisible Kingdom by Wilson and Ward 02.09.2021 27:01 ↓

This sci-fi space opera allegory about Amazon, organized religion and the people caught in between has its moments, but whiffs it in the end.

How crazy is "too crazy" for a series from Morrison?  I've got your answer right here.

A flawed-but-fascinating take on a legendary bluesman from one of the last creators you'd expect!

Spurrier + Henson + Bowie = Greatness...?

Comic Picks #339: West Coast Avengers -- Vision Quest 15.04.2021 25:18 ↓

The good, the bad, and the "What the hell did he do to Frank Castle?" of Cate's cosmic comics.
