Arroe Collins Like Its Live Unplugged And Totally Uncut

For some people getting rejected over and over never comes across as being that ticket to get out and stay out.  Then one night, an executive who had rejected him earlier caught his live show.  It changed the face of this genre of sound.

My third-grade teacher preached to us every day, "Your desk is what your real life looks like. If it's cluttered and difficult to locate things in...ummm that's also your world away from the desk."

A beautiful and unexpected take on the musician's memoir, one that could only come from cofounder, guitarist, and songwriter of Tears For Fears, Roland Orzabal."The story of a musician and songwriter who helped define the 1980s . . . Orzabal is singularly charming . . . Poignant dispatches from the mad world of stardom."-Kirkus Reviews"Being an older artist makes more sense to m...

An annual camping trip takes a horrifying turn when a church group mistakenly hikes into an unknown area of a remote forest and begin to disappear, one-by-one. Suspicions fly as the group sets eyes on Ricky (Russell "Russ" Vitale) - the troublemaker definitely up to something - as the one responsible. But as they venture deeper into the woods to investigate, they realize they are being h...

I thought the turnover in radio was horribly out of control. Retail is a nightmare. Plus...you can't hide a fart. People will hit what they think is a private lane in a store and totally gas the sky never realizing its going to hit the rest of us on the other side. Then those moments you realize you work for real asses.

I'm so guilty for standing up for what I believe is a bad manager mistreating coworkers.  I am wrong or right for having a voice?  Is it leadership on their behalf to be a bully on the workplace front?  Plus are we wearing our underwear too tight?  Should we go commando?

Hope. Every old timer I share a conversation with explains to me how we are the generation that lacks hope. It's how our parents and grandparents made it through two world wars. It's how settlers of ancient times pushed their wagons into valley floors that didn't come with Wi-Fi or fast food. Hope!

Those things we say. So much of it arrived two to three hundred years ago. Yet it seems so new today. One such phrase is don't bite off more than what you can chew. Where does it come from?

It happens all the time. Your podcast guest is a no call no show. Don't let it get you down. It's not your loss. It's theirs. How do you know if it's about rescheduling? I play by the three-time rule. What does that even mean? How should you act and react and can it put the podcast host on a bad list? Sure...watch what you say and how you react moving forward.

On a storm-lashed night in May 1832, the American whaleship Mentor struck a reef near the Palau Islands, splintering its crew and setting off a chain of events that would unfold over years and across multiple Pacific islands. As Dolin vividly reconstructs, the wreck shattered not only the ship, but the rigid hierarchies of life at sea: authority collapsed, loyalties fractured, and survival demande...

The worst drought in the south since 2008. The land is so hard that it's reminding me of the sandstone of Montana. My worries sit within the soil, what's going on with the roots of all living things? How can we as humans learn from this natural behavior?

The critics called it Disco.  Mainly because of the firest ever use of a new electronic drum machine.  Fans labeled it Punk.  Oh really?  Cuz the band was hoping for Reggae.

In a world of labels being placed on people, one father and one son were determined to break that tag, even if it was one of autism. This is their story. In a world quick to label, judge, and box in people, one father and son stood firm and refused to be defined by an autism diagnosis. If you're channel surfing and happen upon Leland Vittert during his nightly national cable show on NewsNation...

The band is ecstatic to be included in ProgDay. “There’s a motivated energy in the band,” says Refestramus leader/drummer/songwriter Derek Ferguson. “ProgDay is exactly the kind of listener-first crowd this band was built for.” Refestramus’ sound leans on vintage rock hardware—Hammond organ, distorted guitars. The lyrics pull source material from Bulgakov, Kurosawa, Orthodox iconography, and Slavi...

Can people in retail be there because of an addiction to being with people?  Plus we are in the center of a huge cultural war... the battle between the power drinks.  Is there a better option.

When solitude reaches back to bite us. Those places or moments that invite so much love for our inner soul and they come with a twist in the plans. Are we being selfish with nature when we refuse to walk in the rain?

In her acclaimed series of mysteries set in and around Glacier National Park, Christine Carbo explored the perilous intersection between humans and the natural world.
