VG Pulse – Anime Pulse

This week DarkGod and myself go through the usual motions. We somehow find enough news to get by. Not that much this week. Then we look into your responses on the forums, that is if you posted. All good though, then I do an update to the game I've been playing for the last 2 weeks. Good Times inside, Listen in to find out.

The news this week is a mixed bag of old and new stuff. Some of the news is a continuation of stuff we've touched on in the past. Most of it though was from PAX and CoD XP. Then we look into your thoughts on the forums. The topic was your thoughts on an all downloadable future. Once we finally decide on another topic for next week its off to the preview. Yup, its too early to call it, given how lo...

This is the first full show since the schedule switch and there is not much in the goings on department. That might be a good thing, as the is no really bad news. But we do find enough to get by. Kasumarae also drops by to add in that extra spice that the show needed. We go over the forums to get what your favorite voice actors are. Then its off to the review, and yes I actually got to play a game...

This is the second of the two half shows. This time we have a mixed bag of news. Nothing all that critical. But we find enought to get by. No forum this week, So its then time for our review for this show. We both do a dual review of Catherine. This quirky japaneese puzzeler is a story driven game like no other. Atlus definitely stepped up for this game. Good Times inside, Listen in to find out.

Well, Here is the first of two half shows as the schedual is rearranged. In this episode we go over the news and the forums. While we thought it would only go 30 minutes, we ramble on for 47. The news is a standard mixed bag of everything, we get started with the riots in London and how they are relevent to video games. We end with the world record holder for highest gamerscore and his ongoing att...

This is another long episode. Kasumarae is back again this week for more good times. Its another week of the mixed bag of news. Some good, some bad and some in between. However we make it last, a long time. We get side tracked and of topic a few times but its all good. The forums this week are epic. Another two page topic, definitely awesome. We look into what your favorite snacks while gaming are...

There is lots going on this week. Lots of news, some good and some ok but mostly just bad news. Kasumarae joins us again this week as well as we look into the future of vgp. Nothing serious, just a schedule change. Anyway after the side notes we get to all the sad news, including the after effects of the tragedy in Norway. We get the sad stuff out of the way early to hopefully cheer everyone up by...

DarkGod is back this week from her vacation and due to recording the podcast later than we normally do she is also falling asleep. All good though, We begin this week with some rants and some stories of the recent past. Then its off to the news, which is a garbled mix of everything in whatever order it happened to be found in. Once we finish the news up its off to the forum disscusion in which we...

Here is another solo show as DarkGod has one more week left for her vacation. However this means that this is another episode featuring the fast talking Millennium. The news is a mixed bag of plenty. Including more of my thoughts on CoD Elite, they may in fact suprise a lot of you. Then it is off to the forums. A weak showing this time around but thats ok, next weeks forum may do worse. We will ha...

VG Pulse 60: Anarchy in the VGP This is one anarchy filled edition of VGP. Right in the middle of her vacation and with less than six hours notice, DarkGodAkito and her friend Kasumarae decide that they want to cohost the show with me. Straight from the UK and on their laptops no less. The news is definetly falling off as we head into summer time. But we find enough to get by. Then its off to the...

I’m solo for the next three shows, as DarkGod is now in Manchester. The News this week is another random grab bag. The Big three news bits deal with Lulzsec, The Supreme Court and The next big law that could potentially affect video games, SB 978. As we get further into the summer news in the games industry will keep getting harder to find. Untill the explosion that is the fall holiday seaso...

In this random grab bag episode, we talk about a little bit of everything and nothing at the same time. The news is a shotgun pattern of a little bit of good, a little bit of bad and some in between. While at the same time being only loosely relevent. Then its off to the forums to get everyones thoughts on the recent hackings that have been going down lately. Not suprisingly everyone who posted ha...

Ezmailz peoplez............ Send them in!!!!!!!!!!!! This is going to be a very special episode of VGP for the history books. Its a solo show for myself with an unprecidented amount of news. Had DarkGod been here, we would have gone for over two hours. But given that it was just me, I summerized, skipped a few and ended up talking really fast. Still lots of news to go over; Nintendo, Hackers and E...

This week is a full house as Tim, Weltall and Bionic all join us to look back at the week that was E3 2011. Both the good and the bad, but mostly just bad, we look at what stood out to us. The conferences and games get discussed again, in a bit more detail. Also we get everyones opinion on Nintendo's new piece of hardware, for better or for worse. I still don't like the controller, but it is still...

Well here we are, a few days away from E3. The news is a 50/50 mix of rumors and announcements. The rumors I can deal with. The announcements just before a major gaming convention where everyone announces there big projects, well that just leaves me wondering wtf? Then I have relapsing memories of 2008 E3 and that is bad. The forums tell us your thoughts on what you want to see at the show, then w...

This weeks episode is brouhgt to you by failure. That is a technical, tempurature and english failure. I couldn't figure it out untill the next day but skype decide to haunt the input volume on our mic. So our volume is anywhere from really soft to screaming loud. Audacity also went and had a bit of a tantrum as well. After an unprecidented 9 hours of editing its not going to get any better, sorry...

In the spirit of seeing how long a show we can make unintentionaly, we go the distance and cross over the 90 minute mark. We go over the Sony PSN tragedy in progress, the latest rumors for E3 and not to be out done, Fox news is in the mix. Basically it is a lot of news, however we do go into some good stories as they become relevent. Once all that is done we look into your thoughts on multiplayer....

Here is a very fast talking Millennium, Telling everyone in 33 minutes the highlights of Day 1 at E3 2011. Microsoft got everything moving, well sort of. Then EA showed their hand, with Ubisoft right after doing the same. Finally to end the day Sony showed up and gave their official apology for the psn debacle. It was not all tears for Sony as they moved on and Kept right on going to end the day s...

This episode is a very long one and we are not even close to E3. The news for once is not dominated by the PSN, but there is a good amount of it. The news other than the PSN is quite diverse and wild. A little bit of everything for everyone. After that long news overload we go over the forum. Getting your thoughts on the "Welcome Back" program, mostly it turns it to a rather sidetracked discussion...

Here is another long news week. We start with week two of Sony's ongoing train wreck. We continue to discuss what is, what should be, and what might end up with Sony. Not to dominate the news we find other intersting bits. Like the one about researchers looking into the use of uranium in hard disk drive application. I see no problems with that. After that we look into your thoughts on the psn melt...

In this episode of Video Game Pulse, we got Ichigo to join us. This episode, while having more news than last week, we get through in a very quick order. Sony's PSN situation has been upgraded from a blackout to a meltdown. The news just keeps getting worse as more details are released. While this is the big disscussion of the week we also have a lot of other news bits. We go over that in a rapid...

This is our longest show yet, why you ask??? The News is out of control. Sony contiues its battle with the hackers and bad PSP Go sales. Not to be out done there is also some Nintendo news. Along with some small helpings of other bits. Why do we need a 6in HD touch screen in a controler? I don’t know either, were hoping Nintendo will explain why. After that exhaustive news section, we look i...

This week there is alot of Nintendo news out there. However I manage to find news for everyone to hear. E3 is about a month away and the rumors are already starting to pile up. After all that we dive into the forum discussion and find out your thoughts on gaming computers. Next weeks topic is a bit simpler but notheless still good for all. We wrap up this episode with a review, finding out what ex...

This week there is not much news but rumors and sony troubles. Mostly about sony and there never ending quest to poke the bee hive. Ohh well, what can you do? Then it is off to the forums to see what your thoughts on the 3DS are. Suprisingly everyone has strong opinions on Nintendos expencive device, go figure. Then it is off to another dual review, mostly due to the fact that the two of us are st...

In this episode, We have a special guest join us on the show, Vailreth. The news this week is well…. Im unsure of. Given that the day before this show was April Fools Day. So while there appears to be alot of news, most of it looks suspiciuos. We try our best to wade through the idiacy. However then we look at the forums and are off to two reviews. A dual reveiw and a PS3 exclusive. Good tim...
