TTBS "The Podcast"

One of Como's finest people joins TTBS this morning. Sarah Hill, a vision of good health, tells us about her heart attack earlier this year. She also has a chance to share stories about her company TryHealium.com, Central Missouri Honor Flight and all the critters that have invaded her home!

We have way too many homeless people on the streets on Columbia, and we know mental illnesses and substance additions HAVE to be some of the major reasons why. Pharmaceutical professional Jason DePrima joins us to get deep into the issues, the drug effects, and the actual brain cells of these individuals going through their own personal Hell.

Como Citizen, former drug dealer, previous MDC prison inmate, husband, father and grandfather, and founder of P.E.A.C.E., Julian Jackman joins TTBS to share his stories and explain the what, how and why he's helping Como's most at-risk kids today.

Where have all the journalists gone? Mike Murphy and www. ComoBuz.com join TTBS and offers the answer to the void.

Bonnie Steinmetz of "Como Renewal Project" dives deep on Homelessness in Columbia. Problems, Laws, City Failings and Solutions.

Illegal Squatters in Como? Real Estate agent Wendy Swetz shares terrible stories of Homeless people secretly living in homes for sale. "Here's a nice two story with a....WTF? Who are you!?!?!" .

Our first "Open Mic" episode where we get to talk and catch up on a bunch of subjects, get some things off our chest, and just let the conversation run wild. Listen for the "young enough to want to brag, old enough to need to brag" portion. It might be a little funny.

TTBS is joined by Brian Neuner, founder of https://www.mentalhealthhuddle.com/ who opens up about his own mental health struggles. Surviving a painful almost-deadly accident, COVID sending him to the ICU, then the ass-kicking reality of a mental health diagnosis. Very personal, very real, and very much needed. Thank you Brian!

As a follow-up to "Pamela" talking about homeless folks destroying her property (and the threat of municipal fines), we sit down with CPD Chief of Police Jill Schlude and the manager of the Como Neighborhood Services Leigh Kottwitz...

Traveling as groupies with The Johnny Henry Band, TTBS is live from Cruz Bay, St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands!

Tom Boman joins us, this time as a guest, to talk about his life. It's interesting, but the twists that came in the last few years were big surprises. See if you can follow along as he describes his newly learned family tree...and we wonder how we would have handled learning some of the tidbits if it were about us!

What a conversation! Who exactly is Dimetrious Woods? Father & Grandfather? Drug Dealer? Successful Business Owner? Three-Time Prison Inmate? Community Leader? Yes.

Finally, we learn just how bad the City of Columbia, Mo. Government has mishandled homeless hoodlums trashing up people's property. They provide zero help, turn a blind eye to the ones committing the crimes, then threaten $$$$ fines on the owners if they don't clean up the damn mess. Property owner Pamela shares all the scary details. Guest "sidekick" Ellis Benus does a tremendous job with the ass...

What the Hell is the "Office of Violence Prevention "?!?! It didn't seem to stop last Sunday's deadly shooting at the Nifong McDonald's. The administrator of this new office is D'Markus Thomas-Brown, and he joins Tom Bradley in this TTBS episode. This isn't the conversation TB was expecting. Get ready to be surprised...

The Governor of Mid-MO and the Mayor of Como. There's a first time for everything and Tom finally sits down face-to-face with Mayor Barbara Buffaloe. Or, as some refer to her, "The F#@&ing Mayor".
