The Watsonian Weekly

Okay, so the title of this episode is teasing a bit near the end. Most of the episode is about the fourth part of Sherlock & Co.'s fourth part of their "Scandal in Bohemia" adaptation, which we sure hope you're listening to. But Watson's literary agent did tell some Canadians a big fat fib some one hundred and eleven years ago. Ooo, they must have been so mad!

The Sherlockian top ten from the Barque Lone Star meetings creeps onto the podcast in a very different delivery than on that Zoom. And much editing went into limiting the bull pups discsussion of aluminum/aluminium, so thank your lucky stars you were saved more of that than you can even imagine during our review of the third part of Sherlock & Co's "Scandal in Bohemia."

Watson news, much talk about Sherlock & Co and where this version of "A Scandal in Bohemia" seems headed, and a bit about signs of trouble in Watson's relationship with his literary agent.

A pretty slim episode, mostly reviewing the Scandal in Bohemia intro for Sherlock & Co. And where was Watson's literary agent in 1923 and what does it have to do with Margot Robbie? Yep, really fishing for material this week!

All the bull pups are back for one final episode of CBS Watson for 2025! The show plainly got us invested because we have OPINIONS! Heed the trigger warning, ye fans who don't like to see surgery performed on a beloved show, because some knives may come out, along with spoilers galore.

One bull pup is silently typing in the chat this week, but we still managed to convey our excitement for Sherlock & Co.'s wind-up to "Charles Augustus Milverton" and what lies ahead!

The bull pups are all worked up about the penultimate episode from CBS Watson's first season!  Moriarty and Watson together again for the first time!

Sometimes I think the commentary on the Sherlock & Co podcast protects this podcast from listeners who would find "The Literary Agent's Ten Percent" an insult to Watson's literary agent. But this week's Sherlock & Co. was so on the money for "The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton" that they might make it through. (Also, we're getting Sherlock Holmes's cousin before his brother? What?!?)

The bull pups are back to talk about CBS Watson's eleventh episode which brings up Watson's war service. Wait long enough and we might even mention Jeremy Brett, old school fans!

The London 1891 business at the John H. Watson Society Meetings continues, and Charles Auguestus Milverton raises his nasty, nasty head yet again, this time on Sherlock & Co. So we have to talk about it, right? Maybe someone doesn't like that . . .

The bull pups are back to discuss episode ten of CBS's "Watson," the case entitled "The Man with the Alien Hand." Evil hand fans rejoice!

We've got monkey Watson news, our latest review of Sherlock & Co. on the fabulous and fun Lady Frances Carfax, and what was going on with Moriarty and Watson's literary agent this time?

Our spoiler-filled review of the ninth episode of CBS's Watson, "Take A Family History," in which we discuss Ingrid Darian only slightly more than usual.

Look kindly upon us, dear listener, as we attempt to do a podcast from the remains of 221B Con 2025 in Atlanta. One of our pups is missing, but we dragged in a host of other Sherlockians to chat about what went on, Sherlock & Co., and more. It's disorganized, produced on the fly, and either the worst or best episode in a while. Good luck!

Sherlock & Co. has made it to "The Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax" this week, and our ability to review it winds up being a little short handed this time. Next week, we make make up for it!

The John H. Watson Society bull pups are back to discuss the eighth episode of CBS's Watson, "A Variant of Unknown History." Does Sherlock Holmes have a son? We're ready to spoil all sorts of things about the episode!

Some talk on the finale of Sherlock & Co.'s Norwood Builder finale and not much more, as we had to keep it short. Enjoy!

Back from Dayton with not enough reporting on the conference thanks to a forgotten laptop and a quick deadline, but Watson's new pal Gwen is up for some fun with Sherlock (or at least we find it fun) and dark rumours are swirling about Watson's literary agent in 1891.

With CBS's Watson's sixth episode, we might just have hit the best one so far -- with the exception of a couple classic Sherlock Holmes characters whose mention makes one of the pups mad. It's full of spoilers, but if you enjoy Watson and are caught up on episodes, come, enjoy the enjoyment!

Police Commissioner Dame Gwendolyn Lestrade has finally come to Sherlock & Co. and Watson better straighten up. Moriarty's agents are infiltrating the John H. Watson Society. And who's playing soccer against mere children? Say it ain't so!

Glowing chests, blood pockets, and . . . corgis? Well, maybe that last bit shouldn't be this week, but it's time to talk CBS Watson again!

Was it daylight savings time that cut this episode's length back? You might think so, after listening to this, but it actually wasn't. The bull pups chat about part one of Norwood Builder on Sherlock & Co., and that's about it.

What can we say about an episode of CBS Watson without all the Sherlockian references? Actually pretty good! (With a few Pennsylvania disclaimers!) The fourth episode was out this week and we're talking about it!

Special guest bull pups Johanna Draper-Carlson and Naching Kassa are back again this week as we cut to the chase and devote almost a whole hour just the the conclusion of Sherlock & Co.'s Wisteria Lodge adaptation and an ominous development for John, Sherlock, and Marianna.

We double the number of bullpups commenting on the third episode of CBS's Watson where stand-up comedy gives way to Moriarty-induced halllucinations. Spoilers galore, of course!
