New Life Covenant Church

We continue the Jesus Journey in Matthew 21, where Kalley Heiligenthal walks us through Jesus entering Jerusalem. The crowd calls Him King, while still holding their own expectations. We stay with that tension — recognizing Him, and letting go of what we thought He would be.

From our 11 AM service, Papa Steve walks through Luke 15–17, drawing our attention to the Father’s heart, and a life shaped by love, forgiveness, and trust.

From our 9 AM service, Pastor Dixie walks through Luke 13 and 14, drawing our attention to repentance, humility, and the invitation to receive rather than perform.

Pastor Tim Fruits walks through Luke 10, tracing what unfolds as Jesus sends the seventy, tells the story of the Good Samaritan, and sits with Mary and Martha. It moves through authority, mercy, and presence—what it looks like to live from what’s been given, to respond with simple obedience, and to stay with Him over distraction. The morning closes with prayer, response, and a sending for Derek an...

Luke 9 brings us to the mountain, where Jesus’ glory is revealed and the Father’s voice affirms who He is. Pastor Tim traces that moment into our own lives — surrender, prayer, belief, and the light of Christ at work within us.

In Matthew 15 and Mark 7, Pastor Jason Cho revisits the encounter with the Canaanite woman and the feeding of the four thousand, drawing attention to what takes shape in the disciples and the crowd through Jesus’ compassion and provision.

We continue the Jesus Journey by following Jesus into Matthew 14, where the disciples strain against the wind and He comes walking toward them. We're invited into a recalibration — fixing our eyes on Christ above distraction, and on Him.

We continue the Jesus Journey by staying with Jesus in Mark 6, where He returns to His hometown and familiarity begins to shape faith. It’s a quiet moment that invites reflection on how easily the uncommon can feel ordinary, and what it looks like to remain attentive to Jesus with openness and trust.

In Mark 5, Pastor Brooke Case shares from the story of the woman who reaches for Jesus—an encounter marked by desperation, courage, and Jesus calling her daughter.

We continue the Jesus Journey in Mark 4, sitting with Jesus’ first parable and the way it speaks to the heart. Pastor Tiffany Fruits reflects on how growth takes shape as we remain attentive, responsive, and present with God.

Pastor Dave Dowler walks through Jesus’ words in John 13 and their implications for life in community. It’s a grounded reflection on love, the condition of the heart, and how discipleship is formed slowly through shared life rather than isolation.

Dr. Brian Simmons slows us down and looks at how Jesus forms disciples—not through demand, but through presence, love, and shared life. It reflects on how real formation begins by being with Jesus, letting relationship shape the heart over time.

What do we do when Jesus doesn’t meet our expectations? In this message, we follow moments of doubt, disappointment, and devotion from Matthew 11–12 and Luke 7, discovering how Jesus responds with compassion, gentleness, and invitation. During our second service, Melissa Hoppock reminded us that Jesus meets us honestly where we are—offering rest for weary souls and peace for hearts longing to be r...

For our first service, we take a closer look at what it means to move from simply following Jesus to being shaped by Him. In Matthew 10, we see how Jesus invites people beyond the crowd and into a way of life formed by His authority and presence. This message reflects on how trust is built through response, and how discipleship takes shape not all at once, but over time.

Who is Jesus—and what does it mean to truly respond to Him? Pastor Derek Pawelek walks through Gospel encounters where forgiveness comes before healing and grace meets unlikely people, inviting listeners to examine how they see Jesus and how that shapes their faith.

As the Jesus Journey continues, this message walks us through the Sermon on the Mount and the life Jesus invites us into. Pastor Tim reflects on prayer, trust, and forgiveness, calling us to pay attention to the motives shaping our lives.

This message continues the Jesus Journey through Matthew 6 and 7, focusing on prayer, trust, forgiveness, and seeking God’s Kingdom above all else. Pastor Tim reflects on what it looks like to live free from worry and fully aligned with the Father’s heart.

We continue the Jesus Journey by slowing down and paying attention to the early moments of Jesus’ ministry. In this message, Jason Cho reflects on what it means to truly see Jesus, respond to His invitation, and follow Him with faith. As the story unfolds through the Gospels, we’re invited to consider what we may need to leave behind in order to step more fully into life with Him.

Dr. Kevin Hoppock reflects on the formative years of Jesus and the process that comes before calling. A timely reminder that preparation, repentance, and identity shape us long before we feel ready to step into what God has prepared.

In this week’s message, we walk through the birth story of Jesus and the announcement that changed everything: He is for everyone, everywhere. From shepherds to scholars to a king who nearly missed his invitation, we see how intentionally God draws people into His story—and how He’s still doing it now. What space are you making for Jesus on this journey?

This week, we started our five-month journey through the life of Jesus. From the stories of Zechariah, Elizabeth, and Mary, we see how God partners with prayer, chooses the unlikely, and invites us into a deeper, clearer understanding of who He is. This message calls us to engage the Gospels with intentionality — to read, listen, and walk in community as we rediscover identity, purpose, and the gr...

Pastor Tim invites us to rediscover thanksgiving as the doorway into God’s presence. Through Psalm 100 and the story of the one who returned in Luke 17, we’re reminded that gratitude realigns the heart and draws us close again. This is the week to return — with thanksgiving on our lips and His presence at the center.

In this episode with Steve Backlund, we talk joy, mindset, laughter, and choosing faith over fear. If you’ve been carrying heaviness, this conversation will breathe life back into you. You can choose joy—even in the middle of the battle.

In this week’s message, Pastor Tim walks through Peter’s step onto the water and what actually shifted in that moment. The storm doesn’t quiet, the conditions don’t improve, and yet Peter moves because his attention is on Jesus. When his focus slips, he begins to sink—but Jesus responds immediately, not to the fear in the boat, but to the faith that reached for Him.

In this message from the Blueprint series, Pastor Tim speaks on the spiritual realities that shape every believer’s journey. Spiritual warfare is not a distant concept but a present call to stand firm in faith and peace. This teaching invites listeners to recognize the purpose in pressure, to guard their joy, and to align their hearts with the victory Christ has already won.
