We look at Rivers and Gardens, two themes that 'flow' through the Bible. What do they teach us? The pdf of the powerpoint can be found at http://www.lumin.org.uk/12hours/pdfs/Hour4powerpoint.pdf

The second half of Romans chapter 2 -  a call not to be hypocrites. The music at the end is from the 1984 Luis Palau Mission to London, the "Inner South" region choir with "I get so excited/I'm forgiven".

We look at the Fall, humans entering in to sin and the consequences of it. Feel free to download the powerpoint (in pdf form) that went with this talk from http://www.lumin.org.uk/12hours/pdfs/Hour3powerpoint.pdf

In 2 Chronicles 13 King Abijah and Judah faced annihilation from the hands of their brother Israelites. It is so similar to the story of David and Goliath (for my talk on that story, go to https://youtu.be/WsCZtGH2evo?feature=shared ) Who wins? Those who remain faithful.

We speed up a bit and look at the first half of Romans 2, with that odd word THEREFORE seemingly accusing us all of the worst sins right at the beginning. The music used is 40 by U2

The conclusion of the Lord's Prayer

This second talk from the 12 Hours Course examines the role and purpose of Human Beings, you and me, in the plans of God A pdf of the powerpoint linked to this talk can be found here . The course website is here (paywall)

We conclude Romans Chapter 1 by looking at the end result of rejecting God. It's not a pretty sight!

(The wind got up whilst I was talking, sorry for the background noise) Should we pray "Come Holy Spirit'? Is it scriptural? Is it right? What does using the expression teach those who hear it?

This course, delivered before a live audience, looks at 12 key themes of the Bible. A pdf of the Powerpoint slides used in this course can be downloaded from here. Course website (paywall)

Two verses that have become highly controversial, but Romans 1 is teaching us about worship and as those who want to worship God we recognise when we are slipping form worship when our bodily desires push Him out of the way.

We conclude this series on the Lord's Prayer with its final lines. This series is based on the book KNEES WORN THROUGH which is available as an eBook (Kindle or iPad) and also as a paperback. Links to purchase can be found at books.lumin.org.uk

Why would God lead us into temptation? Why do we need to pray that He doesn't? This series is based on the book Knees Worn Through which is not available on Amazon in paperback for £8.40 ISBN: 979 - 8872 686415

We look at some verses which have been mis-understood (I suggest), even mis-translated (I propose) and see what they are really saying. Actually, it's all about worship!

Having asked to avoid temptation we now pray for a deliverance from evil. This podcast is based on KNEES WORN THROUGH by Geoff Lumley Available in eBook form (Kindle or Apple) and now also in Paperback (from Amazon) Link to both can be found at books.lumin.org.uk

Paul confronts Godless, futile, thinking

Do animals go to heaven when they die? Do even humans?

Continuing the series on Romans chapter 1, we come to verses 17 to 20. The Righteousness of God is revealed and so is the Wrath of God.

We ask to be forgiven in the same way that we are ready to forgive others!!!!

A follow on from the 'Walking the Talking' episode on Believing the Bible with Integrity. Why do we not see healing as we pray in faith even though God's word promises it for now, not just for eternity? ‘Bring Them Home’ Lyrics (Translated from Hebrew) Another Hour has passed Another Hour of madness The weeds have grown in the path and garden The wind sighed Opening the shutter Banging the old wal...

The BIble says God heals all sickness. How can we say we believe the Bible is true with integrity in the face of so many people not being healed?

The Gospel is the Power of God for the Salvation of all who Believe
