James 1:1-18. Are you ready to really grow in your faith? James has some great advice!

With the conclusion of the red letter challenge, we look at the final target of going. Are you fulfilling the mission Jesus gives to every believer? Are you ready to go for Jesus? Your story is very powerful, and Jesus wants you to share it!

Week 5 of the red letter challenge, and the focus is on generosity and giving. Can a follower of Jesus be wealthy? Absolutely! If they are also generous. Jesus taught about money and possessions a lot, are you being obedient?

We look more closely at the third target Jesus gives us to fulfill; serving.

The next target Jesus gives us to shoot at is forgiveness, because forgiveness is the lynch pin of our faith. Unforgiveness will you back, and forgiveness will set you free!

Red Letter Challenge week 2 - Being by Faith Journey Church

Are you ready to go all in with your faith? Jesus gives us the example of what all in really looks like.

Paul concludes his letter to the Romans with addressing our goal in life and advice on how to live all of these truths out.

Paul continues to address different life topics as they apply after you receive Christ as your savior. In chapter 14 we look at judgement of others and "gray area" sin. Judgement vs. accountability and guilt vs. conviction.

Paul continues to teach on life topics of a follower of Jesus. In chapter 13 he addresses submitting to authority and lifestyle choices. Very personal and practical for your day to day journey of faith!

Paul moves into the final section of the letter, what does your day to day life look like as a follower of Jesus.

Paul focuses on the attributes of God in this last chapter of this 3 chapter section of the letter. What is your reaction to who God is and what he has done for you?

In chapter 10, Paul continues to get very personal and very practical. Have you heard the true gospel? Have you accepted it? Have you shared it?

In Romans 9 Paul gets very personal and very practical. What is tripping up your faith?

In Romans 6 and 7 Paul asks 4 rhetorical questions, all with the same answer; of course not! Do you struggle with sin? The truth is we all do, which is why we need the hope this passage provides.

In romans 5 Paul describes one way that our faith should effect our daily life, and how it brings us through tragedy or struggle. Can you rejoice when you face a trial?

In this conclusion to the series, we see that even good things can become unhealthy if we lose our focus. God wants to accomplish big things through you, just like he did Gideon!
