The Evil Within 2 PS4 07.06.2023

On his episode, I dive back into STEM and render my thoughts on The Evil Within 2, a survival horror sequel that almost does not resemble the game that came before due to changing up the formula and just going buck wild. But is it any good? I think so, but considering what it was up against from the AAA game sphere, it could have been the worst game ever and still succeeded. So there is that.

The Evil Within PS4 31.05.2023

Hope you liked Resident Evil 4 , because you're getting again but under a different name! My thoughts on The Evil Within, a survival horror title from the master of the RE series where he tried to do something different but ZeniMax wanted RE4 again for their own purposes. This is another of my Problematic Favorites, so grab your own Agony Crossbow and strap in.

The Last of Us Remastered PS4 24.05.2023

In which I say nothing upsetting or get annoyed at people in any way whatsoever, I offer my thoughts on The Last of Us Remastered. Nor do I comment on fandoms, public discourse, or anything else. It's just a fun zombie game, really. Nor is it a "we need to talk" episode. Not really, anyway.

Samurai Shodown II Arcade 17.05.2023

Oh boy, a versus fighter sequel! I offer my thoughts on Samurai Shodown II, the second versus fighting game that made me want to get good at it. We get more of the same with some improvements and I actually beat this one in the arcade, when no one was around. Oh well.

Samurai Shodown Arcade 10.05.2023

There can be only one, I guess? My thoughts on Samurai Shodown for the arcades, the only versus fighting arcade game that made me want to get good at them. I discuss the game itself, historical parallels, and a 1980s TV miniseries that had only a tangential relationship to punk samurais killing one another.

Darkstalkers Arcade 03.05.2023

This is what happens when we let the creatures of myth fight it out for supremacy. On this episode I talk about Darkstalkers, another Capcom fighting game where they scratched the serial numbers off of the Universal Monsters and set them loose on arcades across the land to compete for all that Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat and Tekken money. Also, learn what happens when you try to do big real e...

X-Men Arcade 26.04.2023

Welcome, to die! On this episode I give my thoughts on X-Men, the arcade beat 'em up game staring six of the world's best known mutants Marvel Comics has yet produced. Put on your best Spandex cosplay outfit and get ready to once again relive the glory days of the arcades.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Arcade 19.04.2023

It's time to talk about mutant turtles trained for murder. My thoughts on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time, one of the biggest blockbuster beat 'em ups of all time. It is also the show's 100th episode, so yay! Turtle power!

Sunset Riders Arcade 12.04.2023

Well howdy, Konami cowboys! My thoughts on Sunset Riders for the arcades. You known, back when they made arcade games.

Dungeons and Dragons: Shadow over Mystara Arcade 05.04.2023

Not the last D&D game I'll review, but certainly one of the best! My thoughts on Dungeons and Dragons: Shadow over Mystara. It's a brawl for it all in a fantasy medieval world where we might, just might, finally get to punch a dragon in the face!

Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of Doom Arcade 29.03.2023

Oh look, yet another D&D game I'm reviewing! On this episode I offer my thoughts on Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of Doom for the arcades. More dungeons, not so many dragons, and you get to learn what a lich is without Googling it, brought to you by a tabletop nerd.

Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder Arcade 22.03.2023

This is not the Golden Axe II you are thinking of - this one is way better! My thoughts on Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder for the arcade, another one that never made it to home console or PC, but was more mythic for it, plus a story of an unusual moment of gamer solidarity for you, adventurer!

Alien vs Predator Arcade 15.03.2023

Whoever wins, we've already lost, but at least you can punch a few Aliens to death! My thoughts on the arcade classic Alien vs Predator, a beat 'em up featuring two of 20th Century Fox's best known monsters filtered through a Capcom lens. This is one of the white whales of the arcades, a smash hit that never made it home... much like the survivors of these series.

Final Fight Arcade 08.03.2023

This is the one that started me on the path to beat 'em glory! Today I discuss Final Fight, Capcom's seminal brawler classic. And I overshare a memory from the past, too.

Clive Barker's Undying PC 01.03.2023

Welcome to Deleted Saves! (Yeah, sorry, I know that audio bit got cut off.) This week I discuss Clive Barker's Undying, a horror FPS written by one of the master of the horror genre. So why wasn't this title a blockbuster with dozens of sequels we still talk about to this day? Well... uhh... just take a listen and find out, won't you? We have such audio to listen to!

Wasteland 2 PC 22.02.2023

Once again the nukes are falling and offering us an isometric computer role-playing game in a post-apocalyptic world. I render my thoughts on Wasteland 2, what the Fallout franchise should have been. Kickstarter success has led to an iconic return, and I even offer a hot take on the differences between these two glowing franchises.

Thief II: The Metal Age PC 15.02.2023

One more time into the medieval-steampunk of world of The City with Garrett, master thief, I give my thoughts on Thief II: The Metal Age. The sequel offers more stealth action and more story with less hassle, but it absolutely had to be a financial success for its creating studio in the age of the thundering FPS. Sneak in and find out what happened to both Garrett and his creators.

Thief: The Dark Project PC 01.02.2023

Another of the great pillars of stealth action game play, my thoughts on Thief: The Dark Project on PC. Step into the soft-soled shoes of master thief Garrett, as he tries to rob blind everyone who is anyone in The City and stumbles into a plot to annihilate the world as he knows it, all in first person shooter style. No pressure though.

Deleted Saves Season 4 Introduction 01.02.2023

Welcome to Season 4, everyone!

Enderal: Forgotten Stories PC 25.01.2023

This week's topic is Enderal: Forgotten Stories, a total conversion mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim . Get ready to set sail into a world both new and familiar with a heavy duty mod that will take that Bethesda game that's been festering in your Steam library for years now and breathe new life into it.

Westerado: Double Barreled PC 18.01.2023

My thoughts on Westerado: Double Barreled, a Western-themed mystery game on PC. This one is brought to you by Adult Swim , the same folks responsible for Aqua Teen Hunger Force and questionable anime choices. But don't let that deter you, this is an interesting one.

Cities: Skylines PC 11.01.2023

My thoughts on Cities: Skylines, an indie city management game on PC. Derivative of SimCity ? Not really. More like taking a winning formula and running with it. Trust me, this one is worth your time.

Game Dev Tycoon PC 04.01.2023

My thoughts on Game Dev Tycoon a near-as-can-be to mobile game on PC. Well, it's actually a business sim game, but let's be honest, this game is a cash grab. But it's good. And here I am talking about it, who would have thought?

Pillars of Eternity PC 28.12.2022

My thoughts on Pillars of Eternity, another isometric computer role-playing game in the direct lineage of Baldur's Gate . Does it seem like we've been here before? Yep, I thought the same thing. And you would be right. But that's okay, let's discuss it anyway.

Icewind Dale PC 21.12.2022

In this episode I give my thoughts on Icewind Dale, another of the Dungeons and Dragons licensed titles set in the Forgotten Realms role-playing setting. How is this isometric, tactical CRPG different from others? Does snow count? Because there's lots of that. Grab a hot beverage and listen in as I give warm explanation of this frozen title.
