Though Christ was laid in the grave, death could not hold the One who conquered it. In week 14 of CROSS TO COMMISSION, Arik Hayes taught from Matthew 27:57–66, pointing us to the victory secured through the grave. Because our King entered the grave and rose in triumph, all who belong to Him will not perish but live forever.

In week 13 of CROSS TO COMMISSION, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell taught from Matthew 27:45–56, revealing the darkness of judgment poured out on Christ as He absorbed the full weight of our sin and satisfied the wrath of God. The veil was torn, access to the Father was granted, and the Lamb finished the work.

In week 12 of our final series in Matthew, CROSS TO COMMISSION, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell taught from Matthew 27:32 –44, pressing upon us that we were born under sin and powerless to escape the wrath of God. In week 9 of CROSS TO COMMISSION, Philip Anthony Mitchell taught from Matthew 27:11–14, showing us the power of Christ’s silence. An innocent Savior stood condemned so guilty people could be redeemed. In His silence, we see godly submission and the fulfillment of the Father’s will.

In this special message regarding CONSECRATION 26, Philip Anthony Mitchell reminds us that Jesus calls us to fast in secret, surrendering the flesh so the spirit can grow in intimacy with God. This week, we commit ourselves to receive grace, mercy, and supernatural provision. This is an invitation to personal revival, deeper dependence on God, and alignment with His will.

In week 9 of CROSS TO COMMISSION, Arik Hayes opens up with Matthew 27, reminding us that Christ has mercy for the villain even when it’s us. At the cross, Jesus was fully aware of who we are and still made a way for us to come boldly to the throne of grace.
