2 Fast 2 Forever: The Fast and Furious Podcast

We're three apex predators cooped up in the sky on the way to Samoa to talk about Hobbs & Shaw (once again)! After a roundup of Pittsburgh events and horror movies (as well as a breakdown of what T.O.R.E.T.T.O. could stand for), we head (again) to Alligator Alley for some bumper car action in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (29:55). Then, we're joined by Tori Sheehan (X is for Podcast, @charqtori) to...

We're shakin' and bakin' on the racetrack today as Brian Rodriguez (High School Slumber Party) joins us for Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby! Before Brian hops in his racecar (from vacation), we talk about horror movies and spotted lanternflies before continuing to race down Alligator Alley in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (29:50). Then, we hit the speedway to talk all about Talladega Nig...

We're hopping aboard a nuclear submarine and bringing High School Slumber Party's Brian Rodriguez with us as we talk about The Fate of the Furious! After Joe talks about a possible ghost hotel (spoiler: it's not) and Joey whines about AMC Theaters, we race down Alligator Alley in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (20:40) before tackling the Cuban Mile in the Fate of the Furious (40:20). We discuss wheth...

Redline has a bit of a reputation. Patron Alex Elonen picked it for us to watch this lap, so we're diving deep into its wild backstory. After opening a full mailbox (thank you, everyone!), we finally hear from Carter Verone in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (31:50) before fearing nothing and risking everything in Redline (44:45). The movie is bad, and there's no way around it. But the backstory? Trem...

We're getting closer and closer to "catching up" to F9, and our latest stop is Deckard Shaw's roaring rampage of revenge in Furious 7! After catching up in extracurricular activites, we meet Fonzie and Fabio in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (17:45) before squaring off with Shaw once again. Joining us to talk about Furious 7 is Drea Clark (Maximum Film!), who -- unlike many of our recent, less sophis...

We're hitting the salvage yard -- and then the NASCAR track -- to talk about Lindsay Lohan in Herbie Fully Loaded! Before we get to Michael McGahon's patron pick, though, we catch up on extracurricular activities (which are very Y: The Last Man heavy) and then do the stare and drive in the 2F2F minute (21:30), where we discover a similarity (of sorts) between Brian O'Conner and Frank Costanza. The...

We welcome back Fast & Furious superfan Heather Antos to talk about F9 -- and this time, we're watching the Director's Cut! Before Heather joins us, though, we catch up on the past week and imagine a viable alternative to the Han and Gisele trilogy we are going to continue to attempt to will into existence. Then, we do a deep dive into the F9 Director's Cut (22:15): what's new, what's (maybe) new,...

We're headed back to the streets of Tokyo -- this time with Aaron Neuwirth (Out Now with Aaron and Abe, We Live Entertainment) -- to figure out where Elle, Jakob, and Mr. Nobody were during The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift! We talk about the Dreamcast, Back to the Future, and Possession (1981), preview the F9 director's cut (and rumored F10 title), and watch Monica Fuentes roll up in a delive...

We're heading Down Under -- and then out to the Bonneville Salt Flats -- to talk about The World's Fastest Indian! Before we get to the movie that Hayley Gerbes picked for us on Patreon, we talk about the characters or actors who could join the franchise in F10 and watch a deleted scene from F9 before heading to Miami and getting answers to our geography questions in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (2...

There's a new season of Spy Racers on Netflix, so we're coming at you with a bonus episode to talk all about Fast & Furious Spy Racers: South Pacific! Joining us are our core Spy Racers correspondents, Nico Vasilo and Kevo Risse, to talk about the highs and lows of the show's fifth season, which may have been the show's best yet! Or was it? Either way, it's definitely more referential of previous...

We're returning to orbit once again to talk about F9 (for the fourth time) with Kevo Risse and Nico Vasilo of Husbands Talking More or Less! Before they join us, we talk about new dishwashers and new movies, the release date for F10, and the special features coming to the F9 Blu-ray disc (plus more details in the back half!) before spending our (thankfully) final minute in the demolition derby par...

We're taking a brief break between episodes about F9 to talk about Fast & Furious 6 with Dan Scully (I Like to Movie Movie)! Before Dan joins us, we share extracurricular activities as Joey's audio is peppered with a thunderstorm, talk about Michael Rooker's character, and watch Brian and Roman scrap in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (20:00). Then, Dan swings by to talk about (spoiler!) his favorite...

With F9 now available to rent on VOD, we’re covering the movie yet again, this time with Cara Gael O’Regan! Before she joins, though, we debate whether Brian and Bilkins fly to California to get Roman from his demolition derby, talk about the merits of modern movies converted to black and white, and the upcoming 4K release of F9 (and what we hope to get from the “director’s cut”). Then, we count t...

We're riding shiny and chrome into Valhalla today as we talk about Mad Max: Fury Road, starring... Cipher after the fall? Before we ride into the wastelands, though, Joe gives us some tips on how to (lazily) watch the Olympics, we discuss the "best" (and our favorite) scenes in the Fast and Furious, and wonder where Bilkins got his (different) bag of popcorn in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (42:45)....

We're grabbing some family, dragging a safe, and hitting the streets of Rio once again to talk about Fast Five! (For the ninth time.) Before we head to Brazil, we catch up on extracurricular events, announce the inductee(s) of the second class for the Fast & Furious / 2 Fast 2 Forever Hall of Fame (17:05), discuss the future of Spy Racers, talk some F9 spoilers (33:10), and order a pizza place's m...

We're headed to Norway for the country's "first real car movie" as we talk about Larson's patron pick for this lap, Burnout (Børning)! After doing our normal top-of-show activities (including a mailbag with some light F9 spoilers), we get an exposition dump in the 2 Fast 2 Furious minute (40:25) before taking a break and then racing through Norway as we talk about Burnout (45:45). We discuss the f...

With F9 still in theaters, we're hitting second gear and bringing in our resident historian to talk about the movie once again! Before we do that, though, we do our usual top of the show stuff, including asking listeners not to murder people (and a spoiler-free mailbag) before welcoming Bilkins back into the fold in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (22:30). Then, Mike Manzi (The Monsters That Made Us)...

Having just seen F9, we're coming at Fast & Furious with fresh eyes and finding all sorts of new connections! Important note: this episode has F9 spoilers, but only in specific areas. (Check the timestamps in the description if you haven't seen the movie yet.) After kicking off with some extracurricular activities, we open the spoiler-free mailbag (10:22), which features an amazing story by Wells,...

At long last, F9 is here. We saw it last night, so did you, and now it's time to talk about it... in full spoiler-filled detail. In this episode, we dive right into the discussion to talk all about Han, Jakob, and much, much more. We bring up our favorite parts, talk out a few major questions, and bask in the fan service (done right!) on display in F9. Joe has a great theory about what could come...

Never before has our podcast title felt so appropriate: we've waited seemingly forever for #F9. At long last, it's here! Recorded live from the movie theater parking lot, here is a very quick immediate reaction about #F9. Now, we're headed home (a quarter-mile at a time), coming down off our high, then recording a spoiler-filled review, which will be out very soon. Go see #F9 in theaters, then sta...

The wait is almost over. #F9 is almost here. As we near the end of #TheRoadToF9, we're taking a moment to get (even more) excited about the newest Fastiverse movie! After we do a lengthy news roundup, open the voting for the Fast and Furious Hall of Fame (voting now open!), and, ahem, examine Suki's front end in the 2 Fast 2 Furious minute, it's time to dive deep into everything #F9. We're talking...

With #F9 little more than a week away, we're taking today's stop on #TheRoadToF9 to do some "advance scouting" of John Cena in Bumblebee! We continue to dodge #F9 spoilers as we weave through a mailbag and another week of news before finally finishing the first race in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (and do a little math along the way). Then, we head back to 1987 for Bumblebee. We talk about the Fast...

We're still on #TheRoadToF9, and this week we find ourselves (once again) in Miami to look for Jakob and talk about 2 Fast 2 Furious! First, we cover lots of Fast and Furious news and try to figure out when the next Fast and Furious movie will release (after #F9). Then, we watch our racers jump the bridge in the Fast and Furious Minute as Cara Gael O'Regan stops by for some quick analysis and to t...

Gather round, children, for we have a story to tell about The Three Jesses... We're taking our first pit stop on #TheRoadToF9 with Need for Speed, which was selected for us by patron Nick Burris! Before we head west for the De Leon, Joey explains a complicated new way of watching movies, Alex writes in to tell us how he messed up, and we head back to Miami to maybe (?) find the "right" S+S Fabrics...

The Road to F9 officially gets underway as we kickstart Lap 9 with The Fast and the Furious with special guest Jay Sandlin! Before Jay joins the show, we brace for #F9 spoilers, unveil an earth-shattering mystery in the mailbag, and try to figure out who used NOS first in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute. Then, Jay Sandlin joins the show to talk about The Fast and the Furious. He shares the hottest tak...
