Building intentional, intergenerational relationships is key to leaving a lasting spiritual legacy and sustaining the church for generations to come. A Kingdom Community is one that values the contributions of each generation and encourages the young and old to bless each other and grow together as one body. This week, we explore these themes in Psalm 78:1-8. ----------------------------- Thanks f...

After Jesus' resurrection in Matthew 28:16-20, he charges his followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to observe all that he had taught them. This is still the task of the Church today. As a community shaped by the Kingdom of God, we are invited to join God in His mission of redemption by making disciples. But before we ask the question, "How do...

What motivates us to serve and share our faith with others? Are we duty-bound, or serving out of a feeling of guilt and obligation? Or have we found the wellspring of motivation that comes from true acquaintance with Christ-like love? This week, we will learn about TAC's partnership with Daybreak Point Bible Camp, and learn from 2 Corinthians 5 about the best motivator for disciples of Jesus....

In Mark 2:1-12, we meet a man who is paralyzed and brought to Jesus by his four friends in a creative way. Jesus commends the friends for their faith and heals the man. This story teaches us that God responds to the faith of others on behalf of those who are struggling. And yet, this story ultimately points us to the authority and compassion of Jesus. ----------------------------- Thanks for check...

As we continue looking at the faith of biblical heroes, this week we will explore the story of Thomas. Often labelled "Doubting Thomas," the disciple gains a bad rap for an event that actually points to what Christ wants our faith to look like.  ----------------------------- Thanks for checking out this sermon from Tsawwassen Alliance Church. Elijah was a faithful man of prayer who boldly confronted idolatry and called Israel back to God. In 1 Kings 18, we see the spiritual showdown between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. This story challenges us to forsake idols, trust in God's unmatched power, and commit to prayerful, obedient lives, believing that God can bring about a deep spiritual awakening even in times of widespread spiritual...

Hebrews 11 includes what might seem like an unlikely figure in the Hall of Faith—Samson. Really? To many, he appears to be a man who failed in God's call on his life. It's natural to have questions about how Samson could be considered a man of faith based on the events of his life. Join us as we walk through his story together and discover the surprising lessons his life still holds for us today....

This week, we look back at one of the most legendary stories in Scripture - the battle of David and Goliath. David stepped out in faith to face the giant while the rest of Israel shrunk back in fear. What are the keys to a life of faith exemplified in David - a shepherd boy - that we can learn from? ----------------------------- Thanks for checking out this sermon from Tsawwassen Alliance Church....

This week, we look at the story of Peter stepping out of the boat in faith (Matthew 14:22-33). Unlike the rest of the disciples, Peter took a step out of comfort and safety and into the unknown. And because of that, he experienced what no other person had before - he walked on water! Peter’s story will challenge us to step out in faith despite our fears, knowing the Lord is with us and will sustai...

God does not call us to exist when times are difficult – we are called to thrive! We are not called to  “Make Do” waiting for “enough” money, that career promotion, the “right” relationships, a move to the “right” location, until education is finished, career established or the kids are up and gone and we have “freedom”. The time to live and thrive is now - where you are - in your  current  circum...

This week, Holden Bowker wraps up our series on our core values as he speaks on worship.
