We’re feeling the new anime wave 🌊🔥 Plus, more Superman talk — is it growing on us or still a letdown? 🦸‍♂️👀

This week, we’re throwing it back to the Saturday morning cartoon era — when waking up early with cereal and a remote was the move. We talk about how cable, DVR, and streaming changed everything… and not always for the better. We also reminisce on some of our favorite classic shows from back in the day and ask the real question: where did the magic go? Then we jump into the new Superman movie — an...

This week, we’re getting deep (and a little wild) as we break down which superpower we’d choose and why — flight, invisibility, super strength? The choices say a lot more than you’d think We also talk about whether we’d watch the new abridged version of One Piece and what that means for new fans trying to get into long-running anime. Then we shift gears and get real about media ownership — with di...

This week, we’re talking about what it would be like to jump into a video game, anime, or cartoon and become the main character . What world would you choose? What powers would you want? And more importantly… would you survive? 👾💥 We’re also asking the big questions — like is Arthur actually set in a post-apocalyptic world?! (Yeah, it gets wild.) EGC joins us live from the road , so the audio’s...

This week, we’re diving into the world of video game remakes — the good, the bad, and the ones nobody asked for. 👀 We talk about what makes a remake worth it , and where some studios are seriously missing the mark. We also get into the latest social media buzz in the gaming world, including the return of a legend — Metal Gear Solid. Whether you're hyped or hesitant, we’ve got takes. It’s a mi...

This week, we’re diving into a wild “what if” — what would anime from the '60s, '70s, and '80s have looked like if the internet existed back then? Would classics have gone viral? Would some series have flopped faster? And how would fandom have evolved if fans could connect worldwide in real time? 🌐🎥✨ We also check in on the latest drama with Nintendo and talk about why the gaming gi...

This week, we dive into the age-old debate: old school vs new school anime. We’re talking about why the classics deserve their flowers 🌸— but also why the new era of anime deserves respect too. From storytelling styles to animation evolution, we explore how both generations have shaped the culture. But one thing’s clear — real anime love means appreciating the past and the present. 🐐✨ We also c...

This week, we’re putting our anime instincts to the test and making our official predictions for the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards ! From Anime of the Year to Best Fight Scene, we’re calling the shots on who we think should take the crown (and who might sneak in with a surprise win). Will our picks match the actual winners? Only time will tell — but we’re breaking it all down with plenty of hot ta...

This week, we’re breaking down everything from PAX East 2025 — what went down, what surprised us, and how the big three gaming giants didn’t show up , but the smaller studios came to play . 💥 We also dive into what we personally look forward to when hitting conventions, from dope panels and indie showcases to cosplay, community, and straight-up good vibes. And of course, we had to talk anime — wh...

This week we’re diving into the Thunderbolts Marvel movie and what it means for the future of the MCU. Then we switch gears to talk about anime that deserve love but are getting slammed with bad reviews — and why the hate might be overblown. We close things out by looking at the chaos in the gaming industry and how it seems like studios and execs are doing their best to sink the ship from the insi...
