Today at The Bridge

In continuing the theme of covering what Pastor Aaron doesn't cover in his sermon on Sunday, Zach and Josh talk in a little more detail about what happened in the life of Joshua between the beginning of his story to where the story picks up in Judges.

After a brief hiatus from expanding on the series of "The Gospel Story" Zach and Josh are back at it again. This time they are talking about Moses and what happened at the end of his life and his legacy.

Josh and Zach talk about the way the tabernacle was designed and what happened between the time Moses was given the instructions and the tabernacle was actually built.

Believe it or not, God established rules to help us be redeemed. Josh and Zach look at the last of the 10 commandments to see how they should impact our lives and how these first rules helped lead us to redemption!

It's Easter time again, which means that Josh and Zach talk about why Easter matters and what makes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus so important.

Josh and Zach discuss the origins of the Passover and also the beginning of Holy Week which also happens around Passover.

Josh and Zach are joined by Colin again, and this time they are talking about how the blessing promised to Abraham was passed down through his descendants. And really it was a wild ride.

Colin jumps back into the fray with Josh and Zach to discuss the super dysfunctional family that comes from Abraham and how God still worked through their messes to bring us redemption.

Zach and Josh discuss the character of Melchizedek, and how he points us to Jesus.

Zach and Josh get a chance to talk to Pastor Aaron about his latest sermon. They talked about why side characters matter and how we can interact with teaching from leaders who fail.

Josh and Zach continue their discussion on the sermon series "The Gospel Story" and discuss their thoughts on the first movement of the story - "The Garden".

The Bridge Church kicked off a new year-long series on the redemption story as told through the whole Bible. So, Josh and Zach are joined by Pastor Aaron to discuss the intention and thought behind the series and explain how Today at The Bridge will also connect to that series.

Josh and Zach were feeling adrift in the ocean of 2021, so this episode is somewhat all over the road. The good news is they were able to find an anchor in God's Word and talk a little about what to expect for the upcoming year.

The guys learn some new acronyms, and they also have a mostly serious discussion about what it is like to be at camp as a counselor/leader.

The guys answer the age-old question, "Is Christian satire acceptable or inappropriate" and some other stuff about rib cages and Pokemon and whatnot.

The guys take a journey into the inner workings of kids thought about God. They think they did a pretty good job of answering... they'll let you be the judge.

The guys have done it again, a new season of Today at The Bridge kicks off with a new scent and some new things to be excited about!

The guys got together to discuss animism, not be confused with Animorphs. They got to talking about how animism shows up in pop culture and also in the Church. They also created a new box for ideas to go in...so that's nice.

Emotions are a thing that people have, or so we have heard. The guys are not very good at the whole emotions thing. So they thought it would be good to talk about emotions, why we have them, why do we sometimes have a hard time with them, and what should we be doing with them?

This upcoming Sunday Josh is going to be preaching at The Bridge Church on the idea of loving our neighbors as ourselves. So the guys decided to make it a very "Beany" weekend and go deeper into that conversation ahead of time as well.
