Enough with the teasing. With the NCAA men's basketball tournament upon us, Tim gets granular with the chances of scrawling out a perfect bracket; Kimball beats himself up for being so willing to renounce his prior beliefs; and Mike remembers the 26-0 bracket start that turned sour in a flash.   

With Selection Sunday behind us, Tim luxuriates in his greatest (last?) moment of NCAA bracket clairvoyance; Kimball sets the ground rules of bracket integrity; and Mike pays tribute to the late Marvelous Marvin Hagler.   

This week Tim wonders why professional soccer has to be so mysterious; Kimball proposes injecting fairness into Selection Sunday; and Mike warns that Loyola Chicago's Sister Jean, now 101, is about to dominate your TV screen again.

Mike reflects on the passing of two more Hall of Fame baseball players, Hank Aaron and Don Sutton, while Kimball and Tim offer their latest brainstorms to help the NFL and soccer. Would you believe two quarterbacks on the field at the same time? What about abolishing the offsides rule? 

With the NFL playoffs in full swing, Kimball appreciates that Black quarterbacks are no longer a novelty or even a talking point, but Mike argues the hiring process on the coaching side is still deeply flawed in that regard. Lastly, Tim offers another suggestion to fix an on-field NFL rule that reared its ugly head over the weekend.    

It's been 45 years since Disney released Gus, a movie about a placekicking mule, but Mike is as bullish as ever on that dubious cinematic achievement. Kimball is less impressed with the NBA's latest super team, while Tim calls for an end to NFL chain gangs, once and for all.

How dysfunctional is your typical Christmas? It can't be any worse than some of the ones Kimball recalls. Tim celebrates the rare gift of Big Ten basketball on Christmas Day, while Mike takes time to remember all those who must work the sporting events we typically enjoy watching on TV with our loved ones.  Oh, and he has big plans for NBC"s Steve Kornacki and those wacky NFL playoff updates....
