This week we get into a really cool modulation effect called Uni-Vibe, we analyze the tone of Jimi Hendrix from the ground up and reproduce it with modern gear, and we dive into what actually happens when you get a guitar setup.

Episode 2: The Big Muff, J. Mascis, and Pedalboard Order 20.06.2022

This week we talk about a four-transistor fuzz circuit called the Big Muff and the main different variations of the circuit, we recreate J. Mascis's tone from the Dinosaur Jr. hit "Start Choppin'", and we talk about basic rules of the road when it comes to putting your effects in order.

Episode 1: The Klon, John Mayer, and Cabinet Micing 20.06.2022

This week we talk about the famed overdrive circuit from Bill Finnegan, the Klon Centaur, we recreate John Mayer's tone on his hit song "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room", and we go over best practices when it comes to micing your guitar cabinets.
