The Middles Open

The Middles Open goes balls deep into the world of the unknown, talking about aliens, priesthood, and if God exists. The crew also explains its influence on mysterious thinking and why we are not alone in this predetermined life.

A special episode with a whole lot of giving. Mikey comes off the bench to fill an empty seat, while Peter, Anthony, and Abel discuss different ways to increase Mikey's dating profile. Later Mike Tipton comes on the show to talk about a fundraiser to honor a fellow media member. Tipton also helps out with a Hydro flask giveaway. 

TMO boys talk about their first television interview and how MTV's old tv shows were the best. Pat answers the most difficult question of his life while Anthony shows no sympathy for frozen Texans. The Carrillo brothers keep things calm and for the first time agree on more than one topic.

We talk money, and how the stock market has suddenly become a millennial strength. We also brainstorm and decide to invest in our childhood favorite business with the hopes of bringing it back from the dead. Peter brings the world's hottest jelly beans which have Anthony tapping out early. 

Anthony invites his brothers on the show and we chat about Space X/ trips to Mars, Brady being the GOAT, and a new president. We find out Mikey is a stud in tennis and Andrew is Mr. Discovery channel.

The second half of the Mike Tipton interview goes deep into the most controversial issue ever, Selena is overrated. The argument almost causes a fistfight with brothers and cousins throwing down. Back in the bar with Pat's life changing overnight, the lad is one year older and talks the love for his baby. Peter gives us our Fantasy update, while Abel tries convince the crew DJ is better than Tiger. Anthony keeps us on track and directs us to the main topic of conversation, The Mandalorian.

A 10 pm curfew is in place so the boys are forced to record from home. They catch you up with the city's current events and the struggles October has presented to TMO squad. We are just one week away from electing a new president and we make our predictions on who the next POTUS will be. Fantasy football is in full swing and our league is all nodded up.

Peter explains the 14 day DL, While the boys mouth off several Nacho Libre references. Fantasy Football and the Cowboys are mentioned and the crew weighs in on the Ultimate Karen. 

Hyrdo Flask Winner, Patrick Medina checks into the show and chats with the crew. Chris breaks loose from La Misery and has a few tall boys, while Peter complains to the NFL and its football package. Anthony celebrates Amber's victory, as Abel fears natural disasters.

The homecoming you’ve all been waiting for, Pat is back! Little guapito has finally made his way home to the Borderland. He comes with stories and his usual positive attitude that lights up the studio. We also have a special guest that is a little shy but brings some laughter, so make sure you tune in and enjoy another episode of this best show left of the Mississippi.

Super Mario comes into the studio with one mission in mind, take down Twisted Pete. We have a great conversation for about a hour or two but then the alcohol kicks in and let’s just say it’s all down hill from there. The Middles Open crew, Peter and Anthony, get Super intoxicated. So crack open a beer and join the fun.

Season 2 has officially started and we decided to bring back our very first guest, Salvador Montes. Joe Biden has chosen his VP pick and Anthony is excited. Peter remembers the good old days from the radio station. College football might be canceled and Abel explains why it’s not for the best. Pat is one step closer to coming home and Sal has upgraded the show with some new music.

We are officially one year in and boy has it been fun. We remember the good times of the show and the progress that had been made, not to mention we are living through an active pandemic. The crew talks about the best moments as well as some awesome guest that have truly made the show a success.
