The FliteCast

This week's listener feedback pays tribute to Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, Peter Cullen, Hayden Panettiere, and other on-screen heroes who have recently left us, while also catching up on D23 news, Lanterns, DCU, and other watch updates.

In this week's episode, we're talking about whether or not the loud and angry Marvel, DC, and Star Trek fans are actually loud and angry. Are there really that many complaints, or are they being overstated?

This week's episode is a rant about DC fans' reactions to David Zaslav's recent support for James Gunn and the DCU, and why everyone should take it more seriously than they seem to, whether you're rooting for James Gunn or not.

Listener feedback has FINALLY returned, and after getting caught up on nearly six months' worth of emails, we dive into how DC fans really feel about the MCU and what Man of Tomorrow might have to achieve to keep the DCU going forward.

This week, I debunk the myth of "superhero movie fatigue," take aim at the Marvel fanboys using Brand New Day's box office to trash DC, and ask a burning question to DC fans about the MCU.

Another Comic-Con has come and gone, so let's talk about the highlights from DC and Marvel Studios this year from Hall H!

It's time to have a chat/rant about #Supergirl and all the different groups of "fans" that have been chiming in on the movie. Grab the popcorn and buckle up, I'm not pulling any punches.

My spoiler-free review of Supergirl, with a full rant about why the critics are hypocrites and the haters are ridiculous, and why a lot of reactions to this film are Turning Red, Barbie, and The Marvels all over again.

My honest review of the Deluxe Edition of Tom King, Bilquis Evely, and Matheus Lopes' critically acclaimed miniseries that inspired the DCU Supergirl film.

My thoughts on the new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day and how it's becoming more difficult not to believe this might be the best Spider-Man film to date.

My relatively spoiler-free and heavily biased thoughts on Steven Spielberg's latest alien film, which is really about humans, and why it proves how cynical and hopeless we've become as an audience over time.

My relatively spoiler-free thoughts on Obsession, the hottest horror movie of the year, and why it's an absolute masterclass in supernatural psychological tension building.

My spoiler-free thoughts on the newest He-Man movie and how it's seriously the best Thor movie made to date.

My spoiler-free review of The Mandalorian and Grogu, complete with a full rant about how much I pity Star Wars fans who try to suck the joy out of everything these days. 00:00:00 Introduction 00:06:11 High Level Thoughts 00:11:30 The Cast 00:14:00 Visuals 00:16:44 Writing 00:24:08 Music 00:25:27 Final Thoughts 00:35:04 Outro

My spoiler-free thoughts on the latest Super Mario movie from Illumination, on my way home from the theater. Is it better than the first one, or do I actually agree with the hellsite critics?

My honest, spoiler-free thoughts on Project Hail Mary, and why it might have been a good idea to put REDACTED in the trailers after all.

Is Star Trek: Starfleet Academy Season 1 the best first season of a Star Trek show in history? I break down why that might be the case, share my spoilery thoughts on the show itself, and why it's time for the close-minded Trekkies to seriously stop talking their selfish nonsense about it.

The first VIDEO and audio episode of THE FLITECAST catches up on the Paramount-Warner Bros. deal and reaction to the first trailer for Lanterns from DC Studios!
