The Chant Show

The Chants are at home and Brooks Stadium will be rockin' for the opener. We know we have a lot of things to fix from last week and this is a really good spot to do it. Jacksonville State is 2-0 and formidable, but not overpowering like UCLA. We have to take this game seriously and get back in the win column for the first time since early November of 2022.

In a game that CCU looked dominant in, at times, they still managed to lose. They made uncharacteristic mistakes and it bit them in the ass. However, they look ready to dominate the rest of their schedule. We breakdown the UCLA game and what the performance holds for the rest of the season.

Coastal goes to the other coast and takes on the Bruins of UCLA in the Rose Bowl. We breakdown the matchup and what makes this UCLA team tick. Their o-line is weak and the environment is soft, but travel and uncertainty in Coastal's secondary may be their saving grace.

10. 1. 2. 3. 4. This backfield is the electric factory and one of the best in the country. Grayson McCall is going for his fourth SBC player of the year and he'll have the dawgs in the backfield with him that'll make it possible.

This group has been the bane of our existence for a few seasons now. That can all change this season with competent coaching, good depth, and size that we never seen before! The potential is there but can this group be just good enough that the weapons around them shine?

We wrap up the defensive side of the ball with a breakdown of the linebackers and defensive line. A lot a new faces in the DL group could bring the pop that it lacked last year. Returning starters in the Linebacker group have the chance to change the dynamic of this defense. Can teh new coaches bring it all together?

To say this group was a disappointment last season is a massive understatement. However, this group has a competent coach and legitimate talent. It might not have the name recognition of last year but it certainly has the ability to be great. the million dollar question though is, can it be great?

Well the Pac-12 is now the Pac-4 and colleges aren't acting like colleges anymore. Chasing money is all that matters now and it has serious ramifications for all athletes. The good news is that the Sunbelt is holding strong and is the most traditional conference left. The bad news is it can only last for so long...

Coastal baseball is the regular season Sunbelt champions and they have shrugged off the cinderella moniker heading into postseason play. They are one of the best teams in the nation and now its time to prove it once again.

I mean, the title says it all. Baseball is currently ranked in the top ten and a trip to Omaha seems really plausible now. Can they do it though?

This team is still really good despite their recent results. They have the ability to turn this around and we believe that they will soon.

This team is really good and these last few results show that. They finally have consistency. They could really do some damage in postseason play.

WOW. There are no good words to describe just how good this softball team is but we try to find them. They go 5-1 on the weekend and dominate their opponents in the process. We break it all down here and look ahead to the next teams on the chopping block.

Down goes #5 Wake at the hands of the extremely talented Chants! They showed this past week that they have all the potential in the world. We can wait to see what they do the rest of the way.
