UFC Vegas 47 is coming up this weekend, I take a look at some fights where there are some good bets, but mainly I have placed a bet that is just awful, even for me. But we have a laugh and place some terrible bets, who are you betting on this weekend?

This week I take a look at what went down on Bellator at the weekend as well as who might be next for the Heavyweight Champion Ryan Bader.  More fighters making fresh pay demands are they going to get what they want and we see the return of a Light Heavyweight superstar making their return in a new weight class.  Pllus troll of the week and a lot of laughs get involved.

So UFC270 is in the books, it was a fun event and it was a really unexpected result in terms of the method.  Now the questions are all around what Ngannou does next, I take a look at his options and clarify the likely reasons that the UFC are not keen on him going to boxing while under Contract with the UFC.  Other news a few laughs and as always troll of the week some great memes to hav...

So the big fight is here, I take a really good look at the huge main event at UFC 270.  There are a lot of things to consider and this can easily go either way, but I have made my picks and there are some very interesting bets to place.

So the bets on UFC Vegas 46 were back on form a quick 3 and out truly terrible, some great fights.  Plus old Vitor Belfort is saying crazy stuff in the news, as well as Volkanovski telling it like it is. Plus troll of the week it is a good time, get involved.  music from www.bensound.com

So the UFC is back, it is not the strongest overall card but the main event is pure fire, love that main event come on Calvin Kattar vs Giga Chikadze, that is every fight fans dream main event to be fair. Lucky really because the rest of the card is, warm garbage to be fair. There will be some good fights but zero star power and even the Brian Kelleher fight now has a last minute replacement.

Great news about the UFC being back this week with fights, but there was some sad news about Miesha Tate but on the plus side I did find one of my favourite combat sports memes of all time, it is really good.

Its the Episode 100 spectacular, bit of an anti-climax, no fights last weekend to recap and no fights this weekend to put terrible bets on.  There are more than a couple of hot button MMA issues that I have strong opinions on (not necessarily correct ones) but the passion is there.

Brand new episode, with a recap of 2021 in MMA plus the first ever Burt Locker fighter of the year, it could be the same one as most other MMA shows have but hey for me the guy is undeniable, can you guess who?

This event really snuck up, look at that main event, it is glorious. Lewis vs Daukaus what a way to end the year for the UFC.  I breakdown a few of the very interesting match ups, place some terrible bets and build an even worse ACCA it is hilariously bad but it is fun.

So UFC269 is in the books and wow it was a good one. Most of my bets were slightly off but I did have some good success in the main event.  Recap of the fights from UFC269 and there is always some aftermath in the news, we look at who is calling out who, which fighters have gone where and have a laugh along the way.

So it is finally here Charles Oliveira will defend his Lightweight UFC title against Dustin Poirier. This is a great fight, between the 2 absolute best in the division, it doesn't get better than this. The rest of the card is also pretty good so I have broken down some fights to look out for and some terrible bets to place.

So UFC Vegas 44 is in the books and it was a really good event, I go through some of the fights and see how my bets got on.  Plus we take a look at this weeks MMA/Combat sports news and have a few laughs along the way

There are some outstanding fights on this card that I did not realise were happening this week. I am focusing on Menifield vs Knight, Crute vs Hill, Fiziev vs Riddell and of course the main event Font vs Aldo. So there were not UFC fights at the weekend so I have by betting balance a rest because I am not betting on boxing in a triangle. Lots happened in the news though, and the Triad Combat thing was not uneventful at all, some surprises and some instances where I am surprised one fighter is still alive.   All that and more, MMA news and laughs along the way enjoy.

This week on The Burt Locker I take a look at the highlights from UFC Vegas 43 (there were not many but a couple of fights are worth checking out) plus I run through some of this weeks news from job openings to the debate on whether we have the right Fury taking on Jake Paul.

UFC Vegas 43 see's the next fight on the Miesha Tate comeback trail in the UFC. This is a tougher test than her last fight, can she get it done? Davey Grant is also back in action representing the UK, there are some really good fights on this card. I breakdown some of the fights that I think will be good and of course place some of those terrible bets.

Man #UFCvegas42 was not kind to my betting balance but they are not called good bets. Great event though with some solid fights.  Also lots going on in the #UFC and #MMA in the news, #ConorMcGregor is back online again with #ChaelSonnen and others seem to also be taling nonsense. Plus a special #joerogan troll of the week it is a fun time get involved.

Max Holloway is back everybody, aren't we glad about that, he is fighting an expert kicker who likely won't get near him but hey it is fun to bet on it anyway

Wow how good was UFC268? Well a lot better than the bets I placed, even for me this was a bet event betting wise but in terms of action and some potential new stars in the making it was great.  A recap of my terrible bets and a look at the news involving Dillon Dannis getting slapped and Dana White watching boxing, what a World

Wow UFC268 is a treat, not only is it the second numbered event back to back but it is an excellent card.  Can Colby get the win over Usman this time, what will be left of the arena after Gaethje and Chandler lock horns? All that and some terrible (low stakes betting) on the Burt Locker Fight in Fifteen

UFC267 was a very good event, some of my terrible bets were just that, some were ok. The fights were fun and there is certainly a lot to talk about.  The news was dominated by a certain referee as well as Strickland apparently saying some crazy stuff, plus some hilarious memes.

UFC267 is upon us, this main card is insane, first fight has Ankalaev vs Oezdemir, and it just gets better from there. Can Khamzat pick up where he left off or will the Leech spoil the party. Petr Yan vs Cory Sandhagen and will we see Polish Power add another title defence to his record or will Glover Teixiera finally get his hands on the title that has eluded him for so long. I am excited to find...

So Costa vs Vettori is in the books and it was a great night of fights, the main event certainly delivered. I take a look at all the action, who was good, who was not and who we should keep an eye on going forward.  Lots on in the news in combat sports this week, more Paul Brothers boxing antics and DC being roasted for an opinion on Fedor that I do not disagree with.

So UFC Vegas 41 is upon us and the big Middleweight fight, no wait, catch weight fight, no wait Light heavyweight fight.   All my picks and lots of calling Costa an absolute clown, because he is 🤡🤡
