This weeks edition is stuffed with all the great stuff that was released recently, featuring Groove Assassin, Will Sonic, James Benedict, Room 2, Fizzikx, Namy & Barbara Tucker, Lexa Hill, Vanilla Ace and a special mention for Cotterell's "Praise The Day", in which he samples Alysha Warren's 1995 Gospel House classic 'I pray'. What a corker of a track! This weeks classic is Mousse T's remix of Sto...

This weeks edition of Urban Night Grooves features another quality production by Ross Couch, taken from his latest Life Goes On EP. Italian producer Daniele Fiorino delivered a great track: 'Wondering Soul', Roog & Dennis Quin remixed a Todd Terry classic 'Baby Can You Reach', Vanilla Ace did a very nice job on 'The Gee', sampling Italo House classic 'How Gee' by Black Machine. Let's not forget th...

First of all am very pleased to announce as from this week Urban Night Grooves will also be broadcasted on For The Love Of House.org. This weeks edition features a lot of great tracks that came out recently. Toru S reworked an unreleased production from 1992 called ‘Organ Ride’. I absolutely love the early 90s piano sound. Sean McCabe is still on fire and made a fantastic M.A.W./M&S-style dub of ‘...

Show #10 kicks off with my favourite track of last week: Doug Lazy's Church Clap, produced by DJ Spen. Both the 9AM and 11AM mixes are great, and I couldn't choose, so I decided to play both. Can't get enough of this track. :-) We continue the mix with a gospel house favourite and UNG classic: Jay Williams - Testify from 1997. A lot of great stuff came out when I was on holiday: That funky new Kno...

Show #9 features the new Fono, infectious pianos of Seven Grand Housing Authority and Filta Freq, oldskool flavours are presented by Club Of Jacks, Sebastien Vorhaus and Delgado. My tip of this week: Peter De Girolamo's slammin' remix of Pino Firmani & Stefano Capasso's 'Movin On'. And, let's not forget the (almost) weekly Ross Couch contribution. :) This weeks classic: Up Yer Ronson - I Will Be R...

Show #8 features Eric Kupper's great rework of the classic Sterling Void 'It's All Right', followed by this weeks UNG classic: Karen Pollard - Take me back. I still love the vibe of this track. Produced by Eddie 'Smack' Perez and remixed by David Anthony. Released on Dig It International in 1995. I keep supporting one of my favourite summertunes: Royal Music Paris 'Oh you'. Tunes by Groove Assassi...

I finally returned to the Groove Garden to compile a fresh session of 90's Soulful House & (UK) Garage. Hard to believe that almost all tracks are 20 years old. They still sound fresh today though. Enjoy the ride! Check out the first part as well: https://soundcloud.com/rhodes54/groove-garden Tracklisting: 01.
