Feedback on this episode was a mixed bag with the majority settling on "predictable" as the primary adjective. That was another solid episode. We enjoyed gaining more insight into the tribe dynamics. The Journey Challenge wasn't rigged so that the losers automatically lost their vote which felt like a significant improvement. For a season that initially felt passed over as CBS rushed to promote Season 50 instead, 49 started off really well.
