Stuff I Heard

This Road House is better than the original. There I said it. Also, check out Fallout on Amazon Prime. It's everything I dreamed of as a kid, good and bad. Neal Brennan's Crazy Good on Netflix is crazy good! I also re-watched Obi-Wan on Disney plus this week. The show is so good top to bottom, worth a re-watch.

So what do you think? What happened to John Smith's mom? Her house was booby-trapped at the front door... what next?

3 body problem is genius story telling. There's more to the game, to the child, to the statement "if one of survives, we all survive". What??? Yeah, it's going to mean something more. Thanks Rich for the recommendation of Furies. If you have a show that I should check out, let me know. Please take a moment, it helps the show; rate, review, and subscribe.

So much fun seeing Rick Springfield and REO Speedwagon here in Florence SC last night! Check them out if they come anywhere near you. It was a great show! Resident Alien was so much fun to watch on Netflix. There's 2 seasons on there, but the internet says there is 3, so I'll be looking for that one. Andy Tudyk is awesome. Vacation Friends with John Cena is a ton of fun as a movie. Celebra...

Steve Trevino's new Netflix special Simple Man is out now! It's hilarious! It's all about family, his wife, his parents, his kids. Check out Meg Reily on TikTok to see many act out comedians, including Steve Trevino's new content. The Gentlemen on Netflix, Guy Ritchie showing off his best work with an ensemble of actors doing some of their best work. There are no small parts or fla...

Check out Yesterday on Netflix. I love Beatles music, and this has a cute love story wrapped up in a sci-fi twist. Spaceman on Netflix, Adam Sandler hangs out with Hanus, a space spider who teaches him he's selfish, and just needs the love of his wife to be happy. 007 No Time To Die - probably Daniel Craig's best roll as James Bond. Love this movie. I wish I could find out which one was be...

Check out CarEdge on YouTube for car buying tips. Avatar, The Last Airbender live action on Netflix was awesome! Whitney Cummings special Mouthy on OnlyFans was great! Jared Freid, 37 & Single on Netflix was hilarious! Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kracken was great!

Thanks to Deloris for joining me on the podcast to day. It was actually her idea, which was cool. I can't get her to be on camera, but you're probably listening to this anyways. The Marvels are great, check them out on Disney plus. Taylor Tomlinson's comedy special, Have It All is on Netflix right now. She's so funny. This is her 3rd special on Netflix. What an amazing time we live in. Go check out Neal Brennan's Blocks on Netflix, then listen to his interviews with Jimmy Carr. He did 2, one where he was the host and one where Jimmy was the host. Both are excellent cheat codes to life, friendship, and navigating self awareness and all of it all. Watching True Detective season 4 right now on HBO/MAX, loving it. Jodie Foster is a powerhouse act...

Go check out Penny as an assassin in Roll Play on Amazon. The Creator is on Hulu right now, it's pretty cool. Only Murders In The Building is on Hulu. I'm not a fan of paying for the service, and having commercials on there also. Amazon just started doing commercials with a pay out $2.99 extra.... I'm seriously considering cancelling all of it. What do you think? Are you ok with the co...

Deloris had gone to Cincinnati for work with Nucor Cold Finish, and while she was there she experienced winter, from the point of view of a southern woman. This was a fun conversation. I hope you enjoy.

Blue Eye Samurai is my big winner show of the week. The best thing I've seen in a long time. Dusty Slay and Ralph Barbosa's comedy specials are better than Matt Rife and Pete Davidson's. Just sayin, from my stand point, celebrity does not equal funny. www.stuffiheard.com Buy merchandise at www.storefrontier.com/stuffiheard

What do you think? Have you seen these 2 shows?

Oh what a fun ride... thank you to everyone who prayed for Donna.

Barbie Movie - HBO/MAX - not for kids. I think this is for the generations who played with Barbie. It addresses the problems with the unreal expectations of Barbie, with the realities of how hard it is to be a woman. Bank of Dave - Netflix - fun feel good movie about a guy trying to help his community and how a community can come together. Trevor Noah - Netflix - Hilarious new comedy special about...

All The Light We Cannot See is the poetry of this episode, and a story of Hope and Resistance. This ties in to so many avenues of our lives and our favorite stories. Bye Bye Barry shows us the incredible talent that Barry Sanders brought to the Detroit Lions, and to the world. LEO is a cute cartoon movie staring Adam Sandler and Bill Burr. It's a good reminder that we are all just kids once, a...

Happy Birthday Alex!! Happy Birthday Marines!! Happy Veterans' Day!! Thank you cast, crew, writers of Loki. This season 2 finale was breath-taking. To the creators of the Netflix show Painkiller, you nailed it. As a person with personal experience with loved ones who battle addiction, this was so very accurate. Thank you for showing the predatory nature of these pharmaceutical companies. The s...

Freedom of speech is so important, because if we stifle others from saying what we don't agree with we limit our potential for learning, sharing, and growing. Freedom of speech also doesn't mean that you can't face consequences of being a jerk. If you'd like to talk about Taylor Swift's Eras show, or any of the things I discussed in this podcast, let me know. Let's talk abo...
